Life manifests only that what we do or ask for. Success and Failure abound, catalyst being the Leadership at every level, Public or Private ... There are those who want to win, for them nothing succeeds but THE SUCCESS and there are those who are INDIFFERENT  ... Different approach ... different results ... Dynamism and Excellence on one side and Status quo and Drag on the other ...

There was a gentleman by the name of Don Stephenson, he headed an International Hospitality and Consulting Firm in California, Global Hospitality Resources Inc. He was always at the lookout for the financially sick Hotels and Resorts,  gladly taking over the management of such liabilities, converting all as excellent facilities in due course of time.

Don was asked how did he do that? He said, on taking over the management, two steps were 'the must'; First ... no firing of the staff, just training them to improve the level of service to the customers to compatible standards.  Second ... FIRE THE LEADER ...

You fired the Leader every time, he was asked ... YES EVERY TIME ... He replied.

'You never talked to the person to check him out to find whether he was a good leader or not?' ... 

His answer was a BLUNT, NO, NEVER ... If he had been a good leader, the organisation would not have been in the MESS IT WAS IN ...

INFERENCE. TO REACH THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF EFFECTIVENESS ... SINCERE AND EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP IS 'THE PREREQUISITE'.
