SO LONG 2012

سب تعریفیں صرف خدا وندِ قدوس کے لئے !

بے حد درود و سلام رسول اللھہ صل اللہ علیہ وسلم پر; اہلِ بیت ، آل، اصحاب اور جملہ زمینی اور آسمانی اہل طاعت پر !

دعائیں سب کے لئے

All that is on earth will perish:

But will abide (for ever) the Face of Allah Karim - full of Majesty, Bounty and Honor.

AL-RAHMAN (55) : 26-27

2012 is breathing its last; its arrival was greeted with hope and good wishes. It could have been the year in which World might have found peace, liberty, justice, love and laughter. Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq and other places on the Globe, looking for permanent and peaceful solution could have found their destination. Pakistan and world should have seen the last of the terrorism. Muslim world would have forged unity. Ethnicity and sectarianism would have given way to brotherhood. Respect for all would have become the way to go. The list of what might have been achieved is very long but alas nothing moved in the right direction because we the stake holders (people who run the show in this mortal world) didn't act and showed no resolve. Might is still right. Weak and poor are still languishing. Respect of human life and honor is still astronomical miles away. Coercion of the weaker nations sees no end. Problems kept compounding AND INSAAN KEEPS KILLING INSAANS WITHOUT A HINT OF REMORSE.

2013 is on the start line all set to GO. May 2013 be filled with love, passion and laughter for all. May we do all what we should have done in 2012 to make this world a lovable place it must be. May we evolve both physically and spiritually. May we progress individually and collectively.

MAY ALLAH KARIM BE OUR GUIDE AND WE WALK ON THE PATH PRESCRIBED BY HIM. MAY CONSCIOUSNESS ABOUT ALLAH SWT ENGULF US PERPETUALLY. AAMEEN.

WA LA TAFFARAQU - 18

In the Name of Allah Karim Who wants us to know what Life here in this world is:

And nothing is the Life of this world but a play and a passing delight; and the Life in the hereafter is by far the better for all who are conscious of Allah Karim. Will you not, then, use your reason? AL-ANA'M (6) : 32.

Lets continue with the traits of Momineen as per Quran Majeed:

63. They have faith in Allah SWT, Prophet SAWS and have left all doubts behind.

64. They strive hard in Allah Karim's cause with their possessions and their lives.

AL-HUJURAT (49) : 15

65. They bear with patience whatever others may say.

66. They extol Allah's limitless glory and praise during different times of the Day and Night.

QAF (50) : 39

67. They go on reminding [all who would listen]: for, verily, such a reminder will profit the believers. ADH-DHARIYAT (51) : 55.

ALLAH KARIM MAKE US ONE OF THOSE WHO KEEP REMINDING AND THOSE WHO LISTEN INTENTLY. AAMEEN.

Retreat To Silence and Lead - John Bossong

We live in a world full of noise. Clutter. Loud is vogue. Take a minute, that’s all you will need, and just listen. What do you hear?

Too much, that’s the problem.

The loudest try to win. They think they win. Blogs, tweets, podcasts, video, media and the list goes on. Everyone wants your attention. Maybe 10 years ago the loudest won, not today, not anymore.

More isn’t better. It may be worse. The loudest and noisiest isn’t necessarily the best. Is it clear? Does it make a difference? Does it move you to lead and take action? Can you decipher the noise?

If not, why are you listening?

Focus

The key now is to be hyper focused. Drown out all the noise. Stick to what you do and do it better than anyone else. Listen selectively.

What’s truly important? That’s what you need to focus on. That’s the noise you need to hear. How do you do it? How do you dismantle the noise, clutter, media and everything coming at you every day?

Retreat to Silence

Be still. Get somewhere and relax. Be quiet. Really listen. Don’t “miss out” on something because the surrounding noise is overwhelming.

The best and clearest is quiet. Creativity lives in the calm. Surround yourself with noise and you will find it hard to lead. Search for the calm, quiet and relaxed places and listen.

Spend some time over the Holiday’s and listen to the quiet. It’s a great sound. Loud is out, quiet is in.

Leaders need to make sense of the noise, or lack of it. The “best” lies in the silence. Listen. Can you hear it?

Those who are not keeping well, May Allah Karim make them healthy, those who are not 'on duty anywhere' May He SWT make them wealthy and those who are seeking QUBAT-E-Illahi May they be steadfast and keep doing it stealthy.

Join me in praying 'May Allah Karim bestow His unlimited Grace and Bounties on the scion of Brigadier Raja Ghulam Muhammad family (who hosted us at Matore) May He achieve unprecedented success in whatever he is doing and every pursuit of life'. Aameen.
