One of my FB Status updates read as follows...
{it got some thought provoking comments- few are appended below} :

The Mother (call it Motherland if you will) called in vain for her son. 

She searched the ground floor, the first story, the second, and the attic--all in vain. 

Finally, she climbed to the trap door in the roof, pushed it open, and cried:
"JAAN, are you out there?"

Answer came:

"No, mother. Have you looked in the cellar?"

COMMENTS 
Nauman Siddiqi.  presently we are in some place darker and deeper than the cellar. We need to haul ourselves up to our mother(LAND), with full sincerity, single minded devotion and clarity of thought and purpose. The mother(LAND) will not cry for much longer.

Asif Alvi. If challenging situation poops up in front of you, would you be able to handle it?
Like a the Prime Minister of Pakistan, what will you do about a group of people who do not accept the constitution of Pakistan and are hindering in your basic responsibility to protect lives and property of the people of Pakistan? And there is a matter of survival of the state.

People can react at least five ways to these kinds of survival situations:

They become hysterical.
They panic and trample others trying to save themselves.
They freeze completely as mind and body shut down.
They act like they are God’s gift to the survival the country.
They start responding and coping. But the situation here is different. Delay, delay and delay. Is it for personal motives? Lack of consensus within various political parties? Lack of trust in armed forces to fight it out? Or moral and intellectual incapacity to take a tough decision? I feel the last one is true, a nation whose leaders in all spheres are in pursuits of self aggrandizement and being rich, cannot declare a war. Let us blame THIS GOVT only. WHY MUSHARRAF, ZARDARI AND KAYANI DID NOT DO IT? MY friends we all are stinking and let us wait for divinely intervention or we are doomed!!
Iqtidar Naseer. Interesting Sirs very interesting, the Mother will keep calling her sons, who are in deep slumber,in some cellar having consumed drums of wine stored there. We need to wake them up using more then one ways,off course I cannot match your intellect,but I feel we should develop ourselves as a Nation state we must realise the potential of our manpower ,and our geopolitical location.We must look at the situation in its totality and act, may be someday Allah change our destiny.I SUGGEST WE SHOULD GO THROUGH FIRST 30 AYATS OF SURA RAAD.
A N J. .,,. Yes Surah Raad if not all then only Ayat No. 11 would be a good reminder. JAZAKALLAH.

Pakistan and its people find themselves in a :
PERPETUAL STATE OF  UNCERTAINTY, 
EARNESTLY LONGED HOPE, 
LOOMING FEAR OF UNKNOWN,  
NEVER TO BE HONOURED PROMISES, 
INDIFFERENT AND UNRESPONSIVE LEADERSHIP, 
KILLER DIVERSITIES, 
INSANE TENDENCIES,
FOOLISH HERO WORSHIP, 
SHORT TERM MEMORY AND LONG TERM SUFFERING.......
The List can go on and on and on.........

Some dastardly and heinous acts in the last fortnight saw hectic activities and SOME ACTION in the EPICENTRE.....Political leadership sprang into action, all and sundry made a BEELINE for Combined Military Hospital Rawalpindi....

Few fumes near the RA Bazar, Softening of Stand by ICON and Noises on the Media forced Treasury and Opposition Benches to hold their Meetings for a FINAL DECISION.....and despite the right DAs by majority of the elected members...today's Newspapers Cried :
NO DECISION - GOVT AIRS MIXED SIGNALS
PML-N MPs MAJORITY YEARNS FOR OPERATION, BUT.........

Opposition walks out of THE HOUSE on continued absence of PM...... 
Someone who has to take the decision - 'DIALOGUE or DUEL' - looks to be ABSENT MINDED, PREOCCUPIED and PUZZLED. I am appending below a paragraph which I came across in a Book for all readers to draw their own conclusions:
The most absent-minded of clergymen...served several churches each Sunday, riding from one to another on horseback. One Sunday morning he went to the stable while still meditating on his sermon and attempted to saddle the horse. After a long period of toil, he aroused to the fact that he had put the saddle on himself, and had spent...hours in vain efforts to climb on his own back. 

IN THE FINAL ANALYSIS THEN "WE WILL HAVE TO SADDLE THE HORSE AND NOT OURSELVES IF WE WANT TO MOVE ON......."

ھر طرف دیدۂِ حیرت زدہ تکتا کیا ھے
مانگ من مانتی منھ مانگی مُرادیں لے گا
نہ یہاں ’نا‘ ھےنہ منگتا سے یہ کہنا ’کیا‘ھے ۔

 ALHAMDOLILAH ! Visited Jable Rahmat, Mina, Muzdalfa, Arrafaat, Jable Noor (By the Grace of All Almighty old legs sustained the steep ascent and descent from Ghar-e-Hira), Jable Thaur, Masjid-e-Jinn and Jannat-ul-Moala......Tomorrow In Sha Allah Hudaibia and Taif :
ھم خاک ھیں اور خاک ہی ماویٰ ھے ھمارا،خاکی تو وہ آدم جدِ اعلیٰ ھے ھمارا ۔
اللّٰہ ھمیں خاک کرے اپنی طلب میں ،یہ خاک تو سرکار سے تمغا ھے ھمارا ۔
جس خاک پہ رکھتے تھے قدم سیدِ عالم ،اُس خاک پہ قرباں دلِ شیدا ھے ھمارا ۔


ALHAMDOLILAH ! visited some more places of great historic significance, ....and a Museum housing wonderful relics pertaining to Harmain Sharifain dating back to {as old as} 65 Hijra....Physical presence on these sights takes one back to the era and a humbling tide of gratitude takes over instantly by mere a reflection as to how tough was life of the Chosen ones and just as rain spell in October yields the bumper crop in March...THE YIELD IS BEING HARVESTED........WITHOUT INVESTING :
تاب مرآتِ سحر، گردِ بیابانِ عرب ۔
غازۂِ رُوۓِ قمر دودِ چراغانِ عرب ۔

الّٰلہ الّٰلہ بہارِ چمنستانِ عرب ۔
ُپاک ھیں لوثِ خزاں سے گل و ریحانِ عرب

OFFERED FATIHA FOR SAYED-US-SHUHAADA HADRAT HAMZA RA, MUSA'B BIN UMAIR RA AND ABDALLAH BIN JAHSH RA....
THEN CAME TO HARAM-E-NABI SAWAS AND PRESENTED OURSELVES FOR 'SALAM' AND CONVEYED ALL 'AMANANTI SALAMS' AND DOING REGULARLY AFTER EVERY NAMAZ FOR EVERY MUSLIM SINCE...
DHER SARI DUAIEN SAB KE LIYE...

SALAM EVERY ONE FROM MADINA-TU-NABI ﷺ !

RESOLUTION FOR THE YEAR 1435 H/2014 :-

"O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded."
اے ایمان والو! اپنے آپ کو اور اپنے اہل و عیال کو اس آگ سے بچاؤ جس کا ایندھن انسان اور پتھر ہیں، جس پر سخت مزاج طاقتور فرشتے (مقرر) ہیں جو کسی بھی امر میں جس کا وہ انہیں حکم دیتا ہے اﷲ کی نافرمانی نہیں کرتے اور وہی کام انجام دیتے ہیں جس کا انہیں حکم دیا"

AT-TAHRIM {66} : 6.

الّٰلہ کریم !

تُو ھی بندوں پہ کرتا ھے لطف و عطا، ھے تجھی پہ بھروسہ تجھی سے دُعا ۔
مجھے جلوۂِ پاک رسول ﷺ دِکھا، تجھے اپنے ھی عز و علا کی قسم ۔

میرے گرچہ گناہ ھیں حد سے سوا، مگر اُن سے امید ھے تجھ سے رِجا ۔
تو رحیم ھے ان کا کرم ھے گواہ، وہ کریم ھیں تیری عطا کی قسم۔

THE EASIEST PATH TO GAIN ALLAH KARIM's LOVE ;

'Say, [O Muhammad],' "If you should love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. Say, "Obey Allah and the Messenger." But if they turn away - then indeed, Allah does not like the disbelievers."
(اے حبیب!) آپ فرما دیں: اگر تم اﷲ سے محبت کرتے ہو تو میری پیروی کرو تب اﷲ تمہیں (اپنا) محبوب بنا لے گا اور تمہارے لئے تمہارے گناہ معاف فرما دے گا، اور اﷲ نہایت بخشنے والا مہربان ہے،
آپ فرما دیں کہ اﷲ اور رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی اطاعت کرو پھر اگر وہ روگردانی کریں تو اﷲ کافروں کو پسند نہیں کرتا،"

مدینہ منورہ میں رحمتِ محمدیﷺ اور جمال خداوندی ۔

پھرملیں گے یہ کب ۔کس کو معلوم ھے ؟

We are mired in a situation where delay in 'DECIDING' is ENCOURAGING THE RAGING BULL to keep penetrating the LIFE AND PROPERTY with impunity, compounding the IMPRESSION OF BEING WEAK AND SCARED with GIANT DELUGE OF CONFUSION...........

Cancerous DIVERSITY OF OPINION & Poisonous RELIGIOUS AND ETHNIC DIVIDES forcing the SIDE-TAKERS to hide behind THE MALICIOUS god OF ALLEGIANCE than the FACTS AND FAITH.

SELF BEFORE THE STATE syndrome EATING AWAY THE FACULTY OF THOUGHT AND ANALYSIS...

 لیکن کب تک ؟ ؟ ؟

کیا دروازوں  پر آنے والی دستک اور  ڈھول کی آواز سنایٔ نہیں دے رھی ؟

جاگو، اور فیصلہ کرو۔  ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ ورنہ داستانوں کا حصہ بن کر رہ جاؤ گے۔

لڑنا تمھاری نظر میں نقصان دہ ھے تو جو سود مند ھے وہ تو کرو ۔ ۔کچھ تو کرو

Salam and Duaien !

We as a Nation are passing through the times which are difficult, challenging and DECISIVE IN MANY RESPECTS.....

Unfortunately we are unable to find the way out of THE LABYRINTH....though the AVENUES ARE MANY and PRACTICABLE.....Our faculties TO DECIDE have deserted us or so it seems, self confidence is shattered and WILL TO STAND UP is diffused... 

INANITY is becoming hallmark and rationality is IRRATIONAL {the least}. 

There have been people whose SILLINESS is Axiomatic and recorded like FOLKLORES. One such person was YAZEED BIN SARWAN from TAALBAH. His stupidities were EXCLUSIVE and UNIQUE.......Few are :
He wore a chain ornamented with Bones, Stones and Shells to eradicate the chances of being lost. One day his brother took the Chain and wore it. On seeing his brother Yazeed said you have become me..... .WHERE HAVE I GONE ?
Once his camel was lost..he announced..whosoever  finds the camel, the camel will be HIS...SOMEBODY ASKED WHAT WOULD YOU GET? HE SAID I WILL GET THE PLEASURE THAT MY LOST CAMEL WAS FOUND.
Once People from Banu Tafawa and Banu Rasab disputed on a man that he belonged to their tribe......YAZEED CAME AND SAID DROWN THIS MAN AND IF HE COMES OUT ON THE WATER FACE DOWN...HE IS FROM BANU TAFAWA (TAWAFA MEANT 'UPSIDE DOWN') AND IF HE DOESN'T SURFACE HE IS FROM BANU RASAB (RASAB MEANT 'TO FAIL')....On which someone remarked JUDICIARY MUST BE MISSING YOU A LOT...YOU SHOULD BE A JUDGE.
Whenever he would take the Goats to the pastures, he would take only the strong ones and leave behind the weak and sick........................ PROCLAIMING THAT ALL THOSE WHO BEEN DESTROYED BY ALLAH WHY SHOULD I HELP THEM TO RECOVER.......

So the trike at RA Bazar leaves 14 lifeless and 33 fatally injured.....and thousands numb and devastated......

What to talk of THE ONLY BROTHER OF FIVE SISTERS......EACH ON OF THEM WAS A SON, A FATHER, A BROTHER AND A MUSLIM.............

Allah SWT says in Quran :-
Whoever kills a believer intentionally - his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him and has cursed him and has prepared for him a great punishment. AL-NISA [4] : 92.
........Whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land, it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one, it is as if he had saved mankind entirely.AL-MAIDA [5] : 32.
Those have no conscience, no life, no passion, no heart.......cannot feel but what about those who are alive and mandated to protect LIFE AND PROPERTY ?

آج کی بات نہیں، آج سے پہلے بھی یوں ھی،
آتے  جاتے  ھوے  لمحوں  کے  بکھرتے  پرزے،
جب ھوا بُرد ھوے،  دِل  پہ  قیامت  ٹوٹی،

شامِ افسردہ کو دینا پڑا لمحوں کا  حساب،



کارواں کے دِل سے احساسِ  زیاں جاتا رہا  ؟؟؟؟؟؟

تمھاری آنکھوں میں جب کبھی آفتاب اُترے 
تو دیکھ لینا  !

تمھاری  بستی کی کچی پگڈنڈیوں کو
پتھر نگل چکے ھیں  !

تمھارے چوپال
سنگ بستہ حویلیوں میں بدل چُکے ھیں ۔

قبیلے والو !

قدم قدم سج گیٔے ھیں مقتل
قدم قدم ھے لہو کی بارش ! !


تمھارے  رشتوں کی ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔

آبِ سر سے لکھی ھویٔ مستقل عبارت ۔
تمھاری تنہایٔوں کی دیمک نے چاٹ لی ھے  !!


قبیلے والو !

تمھاری بستی کے اُس طرف
شہد کی ندی سے پرے َ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔

بہت دُور ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔  دودھ کی نہر کے کناروں پہ
ٌموتٌ منڈلا کے اپنے سوداگروں کے خیمے لگا رھی ھے !

مجھے نہ جھٹلاو


میں نے بے دست و پا ھوا سے یہی سنا ھے
کی آنے والا ھر ایک موسم قضا کا موسم


کہ آنے والی  ھر ایک ساعت
فنا بہ لب ھے


کہ آنے والا ھر ایک  لمحہ
اجل بہ پا ھے ۔

اب کے تازہ عذاب اُترے تو دیکھ لینا  !
