2018 ... AND ... 2019 !

Salam o Dua ...

Every 'Beginning' has an 'End' ... But ...

'Will abide (for ever) the Face of Allah Karim - full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour'.
(AL-RAHMAN (55) : 26-27)

2018 is breathing its last; its arrival was greeted with hope and its departure should merit a review and introspection.  It saw another administration completing its tenure, Demon of Terror losing to Pakistani Resolve and Spirit and Sacrifices of its Forces, General Elections - New Government, A welcome Accountability process. 

It could have been the year in which World might have found Peace,  Liberty, Justice, Love and Laughter. 

Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq and other places on the Globe, looking for permanent and peaceful solution could have found their destination. 

The world could have seen the last of the Terrorism. 

Muslim world could have forged Unity. 

Ethnicity and Sectarianism, Hate, Prejudices  would have given way to Brotherhood, Harmony, Affection and Love. 

Respect for all would have become the way to go. 

The list of what might have been achieved is pretty long but for the stake holders (people who run the show in this mortal world) lack of resolve. 

Might is still Right. 

Weak and Poor(Nations and Individuals)are still languishing. 

Respect of human life and honour is still AWOL. 

Coercion sees no end AND HUMANS KEEP KILLING HUMANS WITHOUT A HINT OF REMORSE.

2019 has crossed the SL just now. 

May it be filled with love, passion and prosperity for all. 

May we do all what we should have done in 2018 to make this world a lovable place it must be. May we evolve both physically and spiritually. May we progress individually and collectively.

MAY ALLAH KARIM BE OUR GUIDE AND WE WALK ON THE PATH PRESCRIBED BY HIM. MAY CONSCIOUSNESS ABOUT ALLAH SWT ENGULF US PERPETUALLY. AAMEEN.

In the morning in a live show paid tributes to you Revered Quaid and wished a Merry Christmas to all celebrating, world over ...

Great Quaid you were special, a rarity, one of a kind, a Blessed one ... Once you left and Liaqat followed... Pakistan became a pasture for the eternal hungry ...
نا خلفوں نے ایسے طریقے اپناے، لوٹنے کے، ڈبونے کے کہ پناہِ خدا ۔ ۔ ۔

 کچھ بھی کہیں بھی کبھی بھی ۔ ۔ ۔ جو ہاتھ لگا ہڑپ کر لیا۔

 جان، ایمان، عزت، مال سب نشانے پر۔

 اتحاد کی جگہ نفرتوں کے بیج بوے، ایمان کو بیچ ڈالا چند سکوں کے عوض اور تنظیم کی جگہ بے نظمی، بدعنوانی اور بد اطواری کے جھاڑ اگاے۔

عقاب کی جگہ زاغ لیں تو اور ہو بھی کیا۔

Unfortunately, we haven’t had one coming close to you by 7000 miles in the last 7 Decades and may not have in next 700 ... 

It is said ... 'THE FIRST STEP TOWARDS GREATNESS IS TO BE HONEST' ... and you were HONESTY PERSONIFIED ...

After you the REFUSE of the GREED god has ... 
Danced on the tune of Dishonesty ... 
Grabbed Any/Everything and the Greed is still Insatiable ... 
Lied Shamelessly  ... No remorse whatsoever ...  
Corrupted the entire system ... 
Though most of us believe 'گور پیا کوی ہور' ... But the Day shall come where no costly counsels and no faltering judges would come to aid ... The sown shall have to be reaped  ... 

 You reaped yours ... ONE DAY WE SHALL OURS ... if not HERE (Process has started) then definitely THERE ...

A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY ... May Jannat Ul Firdous be your permanent abode ...

HOPE EARNESTLY - STRIVE HONESTLY - TRUST GOD !

Salam O Dua

Friends I wrote yesterday that 16 December should bring out the resolve in us ... 'Adversities SPUR US ON' ... 

Today sitting with friends and colleagues 'The Depressive State of Affairs' was the point to ponder ... My response as always was 'تندیءِ بادِ مخالف سے نہ گھبرا اے عقاب' ... 

My take:  
All those from the Arid (بارانی) Areas know that Life  thrives on the Rains there ... Scarce and Scanty Rains, which come like the migratory birds in July/August ... And by September fly off ... To show up again sometime as late as February next ... This time though, it's a Blessing of Allah Karim that December saw a sprinkling. 

The Wheat Sowing season starts after Mid-October and one has been seeing now for decades {irrespective, there is Moisture  (WATTER وتر) in the land or not} ... Crop is sowed ... 
THAT IS HOPE AND TRUST ... Come March/April and the yield is there, sufficient to sustain the growers for years and enough to share with the needy too.

Lessons:

Whatever the Circumstances ... What has to be done ... MUST BE DONE. 
 
NO GIVING UP ... Quitters Never Harvest. 
 
THERE ARE NO SHORTCUTS ... and ...

سولہ دسمبر ۔۔

سولہ کا ہندسہ ھماری تاریخ کے ایک اِنتہای افسوسناک موڑ کا نقیب کہ کیسے اپنوں کی کوتاہ اندیشیوں، بھایئوں کی کج فھمیوں اور دشمنوں کی کارستانیوں نے  

ھمیں ھزیمت سے دوچار کیا

ذلت سے ھمکنار کیا

ھماری اخوت و حمیت کو تار تار کیا۔

قرض تو سولہ کا چکانا پڑے گا، ہم نہیں تو  ہماری نسلوں کو ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ اکہتر کا ہو یا چودہ کا ۔ ۔ ۔ 


'Being defeated is often a temporary condition ................ GIVING UP IS WHAT MAKES IT PERMANENT'.

شہیدوں کو سلام

غازیوں کو یاد دہانی

اور ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔

قوم کو آواز ۔۔۔۔

غیرت ہے بڑی چیز جہانِ تگ و دو میں


Remembering 71 and 14, lets  RESOLVE :-

'Enemies you have not and you will NEVER break our SOULS. We shall always hold our heads high and STAND OUR GROUND.

We shall In Sha Allah, make Pakistan a land where there is:-

    No tyranny, coercion and TERROR.

    No corruption and no horror.

    No dishonest leader and no compromised scholar.

    No injustice and no dishonour.


 For that to happen we shall have to change:-
Our Attitudes, Deeds, Deals and Thoughts. 

Our Suicidal Streaks, Self-Serving Squeaks and Indifference.  

Strike out the Moral Insolvency, Raging Incompetence and Hesitance (to make decisions).

We must confess that:-

مولا نے ھر اس کو بے تحاشا نوازا جو اپنے پاکستان سے جڑا 

خواہ وہ سیاسی لیڈر بنا

فوج میں گیا یا کھیل کےمیدان میں کودا

میڈیا میں آیا یا تعلیمی ادارہ بنایا

 - سب پر ھن برسا

 لیکن شاید دکھانے کے لئے  -بہت کم ہے سب کے پاس

آیئے اقرار کرتے ھوے اپنی کوھتایئوں کا پھر رواں ھوتے ھیں سوئے منزل 

طالب ھوتے ھوے رب کی رحمتوں کے چلاتےھیں اپنا کارواں 

مدد مانگتے ھوے اللہ سے مقامِ بدر پیدا کرتے ھیں 

نصرتِ خداوندی بھی انشا اللہ  آے گی اور فرشتے بھی اتریں گے قطار اندر قطار-
