AKHTAR N JANJUA

Allah created humans from a male and a female and made into tribes and nations for identification. However the most righteous is the most honoured. No Arab has any superiority over a non-Arab nor is a White any way better than a Black. All created beings are the decendants of Adam and existence of Adam sprang from dust. hence all claims to superiority and greatness, all demands for blood or ransom and all false traits or trends of rule are false.

FROM THE BOOK SHELF OF A MASTER !

Salam and Duaien ......

Autumns are about to set in ..... heat persists ...... Rhetoric,  Drama, Antics, Belligerence, Intransigence, Brutalities, Coercion, Corruption, Egos, Ids, Deceit, Compromises, Marches, Matches, Eggs and Sticks all on display .......

India ..... It is easy to 'JUMP IN' but have you war-gamed 'THE END OF THE DAY STATE'?

Pakistan ..... Is your own house in order?

What about 'DAY DREAMS' wrapped in 'SARIs', sweetened by 'MANGO CARTONs'?

Why no cry over Kulbhusions, Brhamdogs and Raging Bull ..... ?
Why so much Pak Dollars found refuge in India in last two years .... ?
What about the 'خونِ ناحق ۔ یہ کس کا لہو ہے کون مرا'  'The Sword of Damocles' over certain heads ?

Let us get back to the subject ..... Here is 'For Whom It May Concern' Advice from the Book Shelf of 'Maulaey Rome' ........
A bird catcher netted a little sparrow... Poor bird staring the death started pleading ..... "Good Man you must be in habit of eating huge quantities of deer, goat and poultry meat; I am very small and will make just a morsel for you. If you let me go, I shall give advice, capable of  brightening your future ....
First advice I give you while still in your hands, second when you release me and I sit on the wall in front and third once I am perched on the looping branch of the tree we are looking at .....
Inquest ..... The bird-man decided to release the little thing in exchange of 'future shaping' advice .... he said to the bird ...'out with the first one'. Sparrow said:
Things which can not happen (technical impossibilities) will never happen ..... Day dreams are good but Don't believe in NON-STARTERS.

The bird was released ..... flew and sat on the wall. Second advice is:
Never ruminate on 'gone-byes'... There is no recycling of time ... Must however learn from the past, which will help you in shaping the better future.
Then the bird sighed and said 'oh my good man, you have made the biggest mistake of your life by releasing me. I have in my stomach a rare and very precious, 250 grams stone worth billions. Had you taken it out, you and your coming generations would have been rich beyond imagination. Hearing this the man was highly remorseful ....

Seeing the man in a pensive mode, the bird flew to the branch of the tree and said, 'you have not learned from from advice .... I told you never believe in NON-STARTERS.. I weigh just about 10 grams, how can I house a 250 grams pearl in me .....

My second advice was 'no brooding over past' .... again you failed to understand, having let me go.... you were sad about an event which you couldn't revoke. As you don't learn, hence, no more advice for you ..... AND SHE FLEW AWAY...

MORAL : PAY HEED, LEARN AND ACT, RISE ABOVE THE SELF, PREJUDICES, TYRANNY, INJUSTICE AND LUST (everything) ...... LOOK FOR THE LIGHT AND LIFE ..... LEST ................

MOHABBAT FAATEH-E-AALIM

Salam and Duaien !

Some body said, "Hate quits when it is tired; love quits when it has won." ..... Sincere and true LOVE conquers ..... no doubt about that. Following 'true life story' gave me a lump in my throat and wet eyes when I read it first time years ago .... IT STILL DOES ON EVERY RETAKE ..... Most of you might have read it already ... still I prefer sharing it to reinforce our view that LOVE CAN ACHIEVE IMPOSSIBLES ...

THE TALE :
As she stood in front of her 5th grade class on the very first day of school, she told the children an untruth. Like most teachers, she looked at her students and said that she loved them all the same. However, that was impossible, because there in the front row, slumped in his seat, was a little boy named Teddy Stoddard.

Mrs. Thompson had watched Teddy the year before and noticed that he did not play well with the other children, that his clothes were messy and that he constantly needed a bath. In addition, Teddy could be unpleasant.
It got to the point where Mrs. Thompson would actually take delight in marking his papers with a broad red pen, making bold X's and then putting a big "F" at the top of his papers.
At the school where Mrs. Thompson taught, she was required to review each child's past records and she put Teddy's off until last. However, when she reviewed his file, she was in for a surprise. Teddy's first grade teacher wrote,
"Teddy is a bright child with a ready laugh. He does his work neatly and has good manners... he is a joy to be around.."
His second grade teacher wrote,
"Teddy is an excellent student, well liked by his classmates, but he is troubled because his mother has a terminal illness and life at home must be a struggle."
His third grade teacher wrote,
"His mother's death has been hard on him. He tries to do his best, but his father doesn't show much interest and his home life will soon affect him if some steps aren't taken."
Teddy's fourth grade teacher wrote,
"Teddy is withdrawn and doesn't show much interest in school. He doesn't have many friends and he sometimes sleeps in class."
By now, Mrs. Thompson realized the problem and she was ashamed of herself. She felt even worse when her students brought her Christmas presents, wrapped in beautiful ribbons and bright paper, except for Teddy's. His present was clumsily wrapped in the heavy, brown paper That he got from a grocery bag Mrs. Thompson took pains to open it in the middle of the other presents. Some of the children started to laugh when she found a rhinestone bracelet with some of the stones missing, and a bottle that was one-quarter full of perfume.. But she stifled the children's laughter when she exclaimed how pretty the bracelet was, putting it on, and dabbing some of the perfume on her wrist. Teddy Stoddard stayed after school that day just long enough to say,
"Mrs. Thompson, today you smelled just like my Mom used to."
After the children left, she cried for at least an hour.

On that very day, she quit teaching, reading, writing and arithmetic. Instead, she began to teach children. Mrs. Thompson paid particular attention to Teddy.

As she worked with him, his mind seemed to come alive. The more she encouraged him, the faster he responded. By the end of the year, Teddy had become one of the smartest children in the class and, despite her lie that she would love all the children the same, Teddy became one of her "teacher's pets.."

A year later, she found a note under her door, from Teddy, telling her that she was still the best teacher he ever had in his whole life.

Six years went by before she got another note from Teddy. He then wrote that he had finished high school, third in his class, and she was still the best teacher he ever had in life.

Four years after that, she got another letter, saying that while things had been tough at times, he'd stayed in school, had stuck with it, and would soon graduate from college with the highest of honors. He assured Mrs. Thompson that she was still the best and favorite teacher he had ever had in his whole life.

Then four more years passed and yet another letter came. This time he explained that after he got his bachelor's degree, he decided to go a little further. The letter explained that she was still the best and favorite teacher he ever had. But now his name was a little longer.... The letter was signed, Theodore F. Stoddard, MD.

The story does not end there. You see, there was yet another letter that spring. Teddy said he had met this girl and was going to be married. He explained that his father had died a couple of years ago and he was wondering if Mrs. Thompson might agree to sit at the wedding in the place that was usually reserved for the mother of the groom. Of course, Mrs. Thompson did. And guess what? She wore that bracelet, the one with several rhinestones missing. Moreover, she made sure she was wearing the perfume that Teddy remembered his mother wearing on their last Christmas together. They hugged each other, and Dr. Stoddard whispered in Mrs. Thompson's ear,
"Thank you Mrs. Thompson for believing in me. Thank you so much for making me feel important and showing me that I could make a difference."
Mrs. Thompson, with tears in her eyes, whispered back. She said,
"Teddy, you have it all wrong. You were the one who taught me that I could make a difference. I didn't know how to teach until I met you."
........YES 'LOVE' IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST 'DIFFERENCE MAKERS'.....LET US TRY !

WISH IT WAS 1965

Tuesday, September 6, 2016

Prayers and good wishes for all.

Today is 6 September - 6 September 1965 was the day when a NATION went to war. This day is remembered as Defense Day of Pakistan.
...
Nostalgia brings out the young little kid in me who was then in first decade of his life. Young I might have been but the memories are fresh and vivid. Blackouts, elders' assembly near the only Radio Set of entire village, (while news-casting) the thunderous voice of late Shakil Ahmed and melodious rendition of Anwar Behzad. Stories of heroics of Pakistan Armed Forces and a rock solid Nation from hillocks of Chitagong to the ridges of Landi Kotal standing firmly behind them.
Emotions ran high, everybody was in THE WAR, some with their lives at stake and others with their belongings. There was no fear of life or losses, only driving force was to fight, live and die for Pakistan.

I remember the folk songs of elderly ladies of the village on the beats of the Drum.

51 years down the lane I am looking at a different Pakistan; where is that Jazba and Junoon of 1965?
We are fragmented as a Nation, one half is not there and remaining is being targeted by very own people on behest of same enemies who have still not forgotten 6 September 1965. Rampaging corruption, coward and selfish leadership, elected representatives talking against Pakistan and its Armed Forces on the floor of the House, descendants of the fore runners of Pak Movement being coerced to raise slogans against their own Pakistan. Institutions destroyed, public servants bought, government machinery used to kill people in their court yards. Gag acts, justice and accountability only for the opponents. . .

Have we forgotten the age old adage United We Stand, Divided we perish.
