DON'T GIVE UP SWEETHEART; YOU CAN DO IT !

Salam & Duaien !

During our studies in US, we were taken to a Rodeo at Dallas Fort-Worth. A healthy calf was released in the Arena and out rode a young lady to overpower it. The lady approached the calf, dismounted from the horse and tried to tie it down. It looked that she would give up as overpowering the calf seemed difficult ..... suddenly some one at the public address system shouted "DON'T GIVE UP SWEETHEART; YOU CAN DO IT" ..... AND SHE DID IT.

Now here in our beloved Pakistan ZARB-E-AZAB reaches SHAWAL .... {when Shawal arrives ZIL-HAJJ remains merely on DAYS' distance} .... so for the corrupt, starts the season of their pilgrimage via operation GET SCOUNDREL.

Faces are grim, 
 
Looks are begging,

Tongues are wagging,
Books are out,
RED LINES are being indicated ..... and ........

Demon-Cracy and CON-SITUT-ION are under discussion.

..... But for those (جنہوں نے اس دھرتی کے لئے کٹنے مرنے کی قسم کھائ ھے) the MESSAGE is 'YOU HAVE NO CHOICES SO' ....... DON'T GIVE UP SWEETHEART; YOU CAN DO IT !

ROLE EXCELLENCE .... !

ROLE EXCELLENCE .... !

Salam & Duaien !

The 'ROLE' part is being discussed in the Prime Time Programmes every day .. What to talk of EXCELLENCE, there are concerns that Characters playing the ROLES are NOT PERFORMING at all (or OVERSTEPPING) ... Excellence anyway in a society plagued with multiple 'DISEASES & SYNDROMES' is a RARITY and 'IF AROUND' has to negotiate many obstacles...(Operation Zarb-e-Azab and Manoeuvre 'GET SCOUNDRELS' are facing similar obstacles).
WHAT IS EXCELLENCE? 
Assuming that ALL are performing at a satisfactory level. Excellence therefore, should be the performance that is qualitatively and decisively superior to satisfactory. However, it is recognised that excellence is not an absolute quality, measured by simple objective criteria, but rather it requires the judgement based on the evidence provided.... 
In general, it is the quality of the contribution in the different areas of activity or roles undertaken, rather than the quantity of activity, that distinguishes excellence from satisfactory performance..... 
{ONLY ONE ORGAN OF THE STATE STANDS OUT ON 'THE QUALITY OF THE CONTRIBUTION' ......}
As regards ROLE EXCELLENCE, I came across following thought provoking ad by the Creative Team of a Big Industrial Concern of another country. Read and infer where do we stand?
What 'YOU ARE' hardly matters 'IN ROLE EXCELLENCE'.
What matters is 'WHAT YOU DO WITH YOUR ROLE'.

Excellence need not be confined to what are considered 'INTELLIGENT' or ' WHITE COLLARED ROLES'.

IT IS POSSIBLE TO HAVE ROLE EXCELLENCE IN EVERY JOB, HOWEVER HUMBLE.

'AN EXCELLENT PLUMBER' is infinitely more admirable than an 'INCOMPETENT PHILOSOPHER'.

The Society, which scorns excellence in plumbing because it is A HUMBLE ACTIVITY and tolerates shoddiness in philosophy because it is AN EXALTED ACTIVITY will have 'NEITHER GOOD PLUMBING NOR GOOD PHILOSOPHY'.

Neither ITS PIPES nor its THEORIES will hold water.


{........ We have BA fail PhDs; fake degree certified leaders ... POST GRADUATE labourers and class IVs..... BECAUSE OF ROLE EXCELLENCE?}

Friends, past week was eventful .....

Friday, 14 August,  marked The Independence Day. Celebrations were fabulous. People from all walks of life enthusiastically joined in to commemorate the history. FATA and Balochistan SHOWS were heartwarming. Karachi like past Eid-ul-Fitr was full of life. ARMY BEING THE FLAG BEARER WAS IN THE VAN GUARD. Cricket Matches at the Army Stadium and National Stadium 'SAID IT ALL'. Smiling COAS, Rocking Southern Command Commander, in control DG Sindh Rangers and millions rejoicing, denoted 'PAKISTAN IS ON THE MOVE' ... but ‘خدا واسطے کا بیر’ has no cure; Contents and Timing of an interview by a GOP representative to BBC was malicious AND ADDED BAD TASTE TO AN OTHERWISE GRAND DAY.

15 August late hours brought in a sad news; General Hamid Gul left for his eternal abode. One might have differed with his view point, undertakings and legacy but no one CAN DOUBT HIS 'PAKISTANIYAT'...He was a great Son of Soil and a Quaid-e-Azam idealiser. Meeting him was always a GREAT EXPERIENCE and LEARNING. 

16 August witnessed yet another dastardly terror attack and yet another soldier sacrificed his life in the Line of Duty. Colonel Shuja Khanzada was doing in Punjab which no body else could do in years.  Spontaneous outpouring of tribute from friends and foes tells us that  he was a gentleman and a brave warrior... 

MAY THEY DWELL IN JANNAH !

17 August marked the anniversary of General Zia and his colleagues ..... Zia left an ineradicable mark on Pakistan and its future ... His advent changed Pakistan and it has never been the Pakistan some of us knew prior to July 1977 and it may take generations to OBLITERATE THE CHANGE. The day also tells us how opportunist and forgetful humans can be... An ex MNA from Okara came to my place after attending ceremony at the grave of late Dictator and was grief-stricken on the pathetic show and thin turn up ....  THE Beneficiaries probably now say Zia Who? بدلتا ھے رنگ آسماں کیسے کیسے

17 August also saw the CHANGE OF COMMAND at SCP. The new Chief Justice has already gone into the pages of history by DECLINING THE PERKS AND PRIVILEGES. May his decisions also be HISTORICAL....

...... and Dollar Fame Model delivered a KEY NOTE address at Karachi University ... WHAT A ROLE MODEL FOR YOUNG AND VIBRANT ??????? ITS JUNGLE OUT THERE ...... Mr. Chief Justice ............

Some Inferences from the Week !

Certainty and not the Conjecture should be the path we should adopt... Conjecture can be embarrassing for us and others and definitely ends in humiliation. {Most of them follow conjecture. But conjecture is of no use AGAINST THE TRUTH. Allah Karim is well aware of what they do.} 

Death is the the INDISPUTABLE TRUTH ...... {Everyone that is thereon will Pass Away. And there will remain the countenance of Your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Beneficence.} Remembrance of  Death can be a source of LIFE, LOVE and FAIRNESS.

Terror and Cruelty are Despicable. {The wrongdoers will meet the same fate as their predecessors, let them not ask Allah to hasten.}

Kindness and Gratitude are the Virtues of nobility....We must not forget Kindness of others and to be Kind ourselves ....{Shall the recompense of KINDNESS be aught save Kindness?}

Whatever the worldly status, be true to yourself and your Creator ... you will be rewarded. {If the faith is endeared to you, and beautified in your hearts and denial of truth, wickedness, and disobedience is hateful to you, YOU ARE RIGHTLY GUIDED.}

Corruption, Injustice, Denial of Truth and Distinctive Treatment derived from worldly power (and glitter/glamour) is A RECIPE FOR DESTRUCTION. {[But only too often] man destroys himself: HOW STUBBORNLY DOES HE DENY THE TRUTH!}. {Do not spread corruption on earth after it has been so well ordered.}

سدا سلامت پاکستان ۔ تا قیامت پاکستان

سلام،  آداب،  بے لوث دعاوں اور پر خلوص نیک تمناوں  کے ساتھ   کرہِ زمیں پر بسنے والے ہر پاکستانی کو ’یومِ آذادی‘  مبارک ۔

(قومی دن، قومی زبان ۔ اددو نہ سمجھنے والوں سے معذرت ۔)


کہتے ہیں کہ پاکستان عطیہِ خداوندی ہے ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ بالکل صحیح ہے  ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ بس تھوڑا سا غور اور یقینِ کامل کہ واقعی  بخششِ الٰہی ہے ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ 


تینتیس کروڑ سے زیادہ خود ساختہ خداوں کا مسکن

 لاکھوں قبائل کی آماجگاہ

 ہزاروں زبانوں کی پناہ گاہ

 صدیوں پرانی تہذیب

 ذات پات اور تعصبات کا ھمالیہ

 مسلمان اقلیت اور بکھرے ہوے

 پھر بھی لے کے رہے پاکستان ۔ بن کے  رہا پاکستان




پاکستان اسی ربِ رحیم کا عطیہ ہے جو بار بار اپنے کلام میں غور و فکر کی ترغیب دلاتا ہے ۔

فکر و خیال صحیح ہو جایئں تو معجزے رونما ہوتے ہیں 

 فکر و خیال کج رو ہو جایئں تو عذابِ الٰہی نمودار ہوتا ہے؛ 

کبھی خوف و دہشت کے روپ میں

 کبھی بدعنوانی اور بدیانتی کی شکل میں

بد ترین حکمران مسلط ہوتے ہیں اور ظالم عمالِ حکومت جینا دوبھر کر دیتے ہیں

 کبھی واقعہِ قصور رلا دیتا ہے اور کبھی پشاور صدیوں کا غم دے جاتا ہے ۔


دائرہِ فکر وسیع ہو تو ترقی کی راہیں کھلتی ہیں، اپنی ذات پر مرکوز ہو کر رہ جاے تو بہکتے دیر نہیں لگتی ۔


پاکستان ایک نظریے کی بنیاد پر بننے والا پہلا اسلامی ملک؛

 جہاں میثاقِ مدینہ جیسا قانون ہونا تھا

 جہاں رواداری و برداشت کا سنہری دور ہونا تھا

 جو ایسے با ایمان لوگوں کا مسکن ہونا تھا جن کے متعلق علامہ نے فرمایا تھا

  
مومن کی یہ پہچان کہ گم اِس میں ہیں آفاق


  وہ مومن جنہیں ظالموں کے لیے جبار وقہار ہونا تھا اور مظلوموں کے لیے رحیم و کریم

 جہاں الطاف و کرم اور شرافت کا دور دورہ ہونا تھا ۔

 شومیِ قسمت یہاں ذر کے ساتھ جڑی ھویئں ’ایمان علی‘ بھی ہیں شریف اور الطاف بھی لیکن صفات نہیں ۔



پاکستان جسے امن و امان کا گہوارہ ہونا تھا آج بدامنی اور فتنوں میں گھرا ہوا ہے؛

 امن  و امان  اور اخوت و محبت کی فضا، دماغ کی جلا اور دل کی صفائ سے قائم ہوتی ہے ۔

 اسی لئے  قرانِ کریم نے بعثتِ نبویؐ کے مقاصد یہ بتاے کہ قلب و ذہن کا تزکیہ و تطہیر کی جاے، کتابِ 
مبین سکھای جاے اور حکمت و دانائ بتائ جاے ۔

 کیا ہم ایسا کر رہے ہیں ؟



محض بیانات سے حالات ٹھیک نہیں ہو سکتے؛

 دانشمندی یہ ہے کہ حالات کے اسباب و علل پر غور و فکر کیا جاے اور ان کا خلوصِ دل سے سدِباب کیا جاے ۔ 

اس کے لئے بڑی پامردی، بڑی استقامت، بڑا خلوص، بڑی دلسوزی اور بڑی دلداری کی ضرورت ہے


سرکارِ دو عالم ؐ کی سیرتِ پاک ہمارے سامنے ہے؛

 آپؐ نے برایئوں کا سدِباب کیا

 پوری طرح سرکوبی کی

عدل و انصاف کے رستے کی ہر دیوار گرا دی

اپنے پرائے، امیر غریب، گورے کالے، عربی عجمی کے لئے مساوات قائم کی اور ہر تفریق کو مٹا ڈالا ۔


 ہمارا حال عجیب ہے، ہم خود ہر قانون سے بالاتر ہیں، ذات اور خاندان سے آگے کوئ اور موجود ہی نہیں

 جرم ہم کریں تو قابلِ استثنا، دوسرے کریں تو ہم سیخ پا

 علاج اوروں کے لئے، ہم خود پرہیز کے بھی قائل نہیں ۔


جناب پرہیز شرطِ اول ہے

ہر منزل ہر شعبے میں،

بغیر پرہیز علاج ممکن نہیں ۔

آذاد پاکستان کے آذاد حکمرانو اور رعایا؛

 آذادی نے اگر پنپنا ہے تو عدل و انصاف اور معقول پابندیوں کے ساتھ ہی ایسا ہو پاے گا

 رعایا تو پہلےہی مجبور و مقہور ہے، اے رہنمایانِ ملت ہمت کیجئے بسم اللہ اپنے سے کیجئے


 حکیمانہ فکر کے ساتھ پرہیز شروع کیجئے

اپنے کو احتساب کے لئےچن لیجیے

 دولتوں کے ڈھیر بدیس سے دیس لے آیئے

 عدل و انصاف کے علمبردار بن جایئے ۔

صحتِ ملی آپ کے ہاتھ مں ہے ۔


پاکستانی عوام کے لیئے ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ 

اٹھو پہلے ہی بہت دیر ہو چکی ہے

اپنے محسوسات، دکھوں، المیوں،  جگ بیتی اور محرومیوں کا نہ صرف اظہار کرو بلکہ حق مانگو اپنا ۔

تم ہی اصل ہو اس عطیہِ الٰہی کا ۔ 


مزید انتظار کا وقت شاید نہیں رہا ۔



 یومِ آذادی مبارک ۔۔۔۔۔۔

 سدا سلامت پاکستان ۔۔۔۔ تا قیامت پاکستان

BE JUST - BE CLOSE TO ALLAH !

Allah Karim Says:
"O YOU who have attained to faith! Be ever steadfast in your devotion to God, bearing witness to the truth in all equity; and never let hatred of any-one lead you into the sin of deviating from justice. Be just: this is closest to being God-conscious. And remain conscious of God: verily, God is aware of all that you do."
اے ایمان والو! اﷲ کے لئے مضبوطی سے قائم رہتے ہوئے انصاف پر مبنی گواہی دینے والے ہو جاؤ اور کسی قوم کی سخت دشمنی (بھی) تمہیں اس بات پر برانگیختہ نہ کرے کہ تم (اس سے) عدل نہ کرو۔ عدل کیا کرو (کہ) وہ پرہیزگاری سے نزدیک تر ہے، اور اﷲ سے ڈرا کرو، بیشک اﷲ تمہارے کاموں سے خوب آگاہ ہے،
 AL-MA'IDA (5) : 8.
Societies thrive on justice. To be JUST requires Faith, Courage and God-Consciousness, especially if the justice has to be dispensed to 'YOU' or 'ACQUAINTANCES'. 'Who' must not be the object 'WHAT HAS BEEN DONE' should dictate the process, verdict and execution.

Lets turn few leafs from the pages of history; 
Son of incomparable Omar Bin Khattab committed an offence warranting punishment through 80 lashes. None volunteered to execute the punishment so the Caliph himself administered the penalty to his son ..... WILL THE HISTORY EVER WITNESS SUCH 'ACT OF JUSTICE'  AGAIN?
Injunctions are well-defined. BE JUST, even if the decision goes in the favour of your enemy. Acting or otherwise to SAVE OWN and IGNORE THE POWERFUL is ANYTHING BUT JUSTICE.  
Caliph Abu-Bakr had said while assuming the Caliphate "The weakest amongst you is the strongest for me to get his rights and the strongest is the weakest and God Willing justice will prevail."
جو تم میں کمزور ھے وہ میرے نزدیک قوی ھےے، انشا اللہ اُس کا حق دلاوں گا ۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ اور جو تم میں قوی ھے وہ میرے نزدیک ضعیف ھے ، انشا اللہ اُس سے حق لے کر چھوڑوں گا۔ 
Pray our rulers too tread the same path.
... And how can we forget the case of a woman from the house of nobles' of the city? She had committed theft and awarded the prescribed punishment. They asked Prophet SAWS to intercede in the name of their status in the society. Remember what Prophet SAWS said, "By Allah ! If daughter of Mohammad would commit the same offence she would get the same punishment" -  and went on to say:
"NATIONS PRECEDING US WERE DESTROYED BECAUSE THEY WOULD LEAVE THE INFLUENTIAL OFFENDERS AND PUNISH THE POOR AND HELPLESS."
پچھلی قومیں اس لئے تباہ ھوئیں کہ جب اُن میں کوئ با اثر انسان جرم کرتا، چھوڑ دیا جاتا، غریب و بے بس جرم کرتا پکڑ لیا جاتا ۔

SALAM !

Friends; we have lagged behind too much, catching up would require some 'SOLMEN' effort. Signs of doom are INTENSE. Argue the Vice which is not widespread and Explore the Sin which is not being committed?

Heartless murder of innocent kids at APS Peshawar was sufficient to incur the celestial chastisement, but the vicious atrocity of Qasur ????? AL-AMAAN-O-AL-HAFEEZ..:
But when it is Our will to destroy a community, We convey Our last warning to those of its people who have lost themselves entirely in the pursuit of pleasures; and [if] they [continue to] act sinfully, the sentence [of doom] passed on the community takes effect, and We break it to smithereens.  
Bani-Israel (17) : 16.

For the people who see and surmise, the truth is .... we are holding onto a lot of guilt. A lot of shame. Isn't it eating us alive? The Vices, The Sins, The Viciousness, would even put animals to shame. Sometimes we can forget about it, but the reality is IT WOULD KEEP ON COMING BACK, if we don't do WHAT WE MUST DO ..... CLEANSING OF OUR CLOSETS.

ITS JUNGLE OUT THERE. BUNCH OF BLOODY LEACHES ARE SUCKING THE LIFE OUT OF ENTIRE SOCIETY.  CRIMINALS HARBOUR 'NO FEAR' ... DO WHATEVER THAT WANT TO WITH ASSURANCE FROM THEIR MENTORS AND PROTECTORS.... THEY CAN BE ANY SPECIE BUT HUMAN BEING, THEIR DEEDS SAY SO :  

"Crime is terribly revealing. 
Try and vary your methods as you will, 
your tastes, 
your habits, 
your attitude of mind, and your soul is revealed by your actions."


What we must do .... Remember the injunctions from Allah SWT ? 

"And if you turn away [from Him], He will cause other people to take your place, and they will not be the likes of you." 

Mohammad (47) : 38.


REPENT; 

WHOLE NATION ESPECIALLY THE RULING ELITE . 

MAKE EXAMPLE OF THE OFFENDERS (KILLERS, PLUNDERERS, SWINES AND THE HYENAS) ACROSS THE BOARD ....... JUSTICE FOR ALL JUSTICE TO ALL.

Friends; pretty haunting questions.... Will we see in our lifetime?
Respect for the concerns of the people of Pakistan. 
When shall Rulers believe that we see, hear, infer and get into the inferno on every stupidity they slap on us? 
Accountability for corruption and persistent failures. 
Once for all 'TAKE A HIDE' vow for all DESPISERS of the STATE and its SECURITY APPARATUS.
'PAKISTAN' superseding all other interests.
What is happening ? 
Valiant sons of the Nation fight the thugs on every inch of the motherland besides warding off the enemy from across the border, laying down the most precious possession, 'THE LIFE' day in day out. 
Midgets constantly try to drag them into controversies, leaving no stone unturned to cause friction and frustration amongst their ranks. 
Abuses are hurled, conspiracies are churned and venom runs through the saliva of these shallow haters and detractors.
The Dinosaur from London provides them with comic relief on daily basis. Enjoying the rant they (with a wicked wink) show solidarity with the Armed Forces while egging him on to keep going with anti state and anti human howls. 

Look at the enactment of latest theatre : 
He abuses, threatens and maligns Pakistan and its Security Institutions 24/7, Invites THE ENEMY and other 54 Countries to interfere in the internal affairs of Pakistan .......
Interior Minister says 'Enough is Enough' .......
Custodian of 'THE HOUSE' honours him with a call ......showers praises, ...... Eulogies his 'leadership and services' .......

Chosen ones giggle and ridicule ......


FINAL THOUGHT-NO CONFUSION..JUST REMEMBER:

"Its is better to have an ENEMY who honestly says 'he hates you' then to have a FRIEND who is putting you down SECRETLY."
