AKHTAR N JANJUA

Allah created humans from a male and a female and made into tribes and nations for identification. However the most righteous is the most honoured. No Arab has any superiority over a non-Arab nor is a White any way better than a Black. All created beings are the decendants of Adam and existence of Adam sprang from dust. hence all claims to superiority and greatness, all demands for blood or ransom and all false traits or trends of rule are false.

JO HO ZAUQ-E-YAQEEN PAIDA.......

All praises for Allah Karim;
Immeasurable Darood-o-Salam on Rasool-Ullah Salalaho Allaihe Wasalam [SAWS], and may blessings and peace be upon his family and his company, and the successors who came after him and the community of those who follow his path – may they be greeted with peace.
And most certainly shall We try you by means of danger, and hunger, and loss of worldly goods , of lives and of [labour's] fruits. But give glad tidings unto those who are patient in adversity, who, when calamity befalls them, say, 'Verily, unto Allah do we belong and, verily, unto Him we shall return.' AL-BAQARAH (2) : 155-156.
I saw, listened to and met one such person today, the person who was paralyzed (and still is) due to a freak accident when he was in his early teens. Broken neck, desensitized vertebrae and and long and dark shadows of bleak future were the hard facts staring him. Ordinary would have melted, but this man without suffering from any 'denial' whatsoever, acknowledged his predicament, took stock of the situation, and with a little help from environs and strong inner support has become a full of life and love manifesting human being; sharing hope and inspiring all those who want to succeed in this world and be credited in the world hereafter. He is well educated, skillful Communicator and a worthy Motivator. An ardent sportsman who drove non-stop from Khyber to Karachi and participated in a wheel chair Marathon in New York. He asked the youth; to overcome their fears, turn their weaknesses into strengths, to keep moving in pursuit of their goals without being overwhelmed by failures (if any confront them) without complaining or blaming others. His message was TAKE THE RESPONSIBILITY, OWN IT, WORK TIRELESSLY, NEVER LOSE HOPE, NO DEPRESSION AND NEGATIVITY. DO YOUR THING AND DON'T HARBOR GUILT.

His name is Sarmad Tariq and he had come to talk to participants of a Seminar organized by SHABASH PAKISTAN in Nust Institute of Civil Engineering (NICE). Thank you Sarmad and thank you Shabash Pakistan and NUST.

I had known another person of same predicament and calibre (May Allah Karim rest his soul in peace); Professor Izhar whose lower body had to be amputated due to a dreaded disease. His body was cut but his Soul and Spirit thrived. He was an educator, a poet and a philanthropist. He died two years ago but his legacy lives on via his brain child 'IRADA' an "everything" Institute for handicapped situated at his native village Bhuchal Kalan District Chakwal.

Anybody looking for motivation to live and contribute? To emulate Sarmads and Izhars have always  been around. Look for them.

Duain Dil Se.
