LIFE ... A UNIQUE PHENOMENON !

Salam and Duaien ...

Friends; Life is a one way journey with an exclusive 'Mile Stone' for each of us, on the path somewhere we don't know ... where this journey comes to a HALT ... Irreversible ... 

Today I travelled out of the town to offer my condolences to a family, which suffered a ... PERMANENT LOSS OF A 17 YEARS OLD ... A young man who had gone out for his Morning Prayers, from there to Gym, from there to Football Field ... Onwards to a Hospital in a state of deep coma as just after the game he had collapsed, never to recover again.

Few days back I saw him in the ICU of the Hospital, motionless, unconscious and wired. People there told me 'His Vitals' were good ... He shall wake up ... and ... Then I got the tragic news few days after ... HE HAD GONE ...

As I sat with his mother ... ALL PAIN ... Piercing the Present ... Reminiscing about the days gone back ... Breaking down ... Tears rolling down her cheeks ... Asking WHY ... WHY ... There were no answers except انا للہ و انا الیہ راجعون and واستعینو بالصبر والاصلاة ... and repeated emphasis on Patience and Gratitude to THE ONE (SWT) who is the sole OWNER of Life and Death. 

There were many hypothesis like ... Drugs (ruled out unanimously), Trainer devoid Gym, Lack of proper Warm-Up and Cool-Down before and after the Exercise and Game ... Unhygienic and Unhealthy Food ... So many; but nothing definite ...

It was extremely painful ... May Allah Karim's Mercy be on the bereaved family ... and May nothing unforeseen and tragic ever happen to anyone ...

There are take-aways ... 

CIVIC VIGILANCE ...

We all must Live and Love the Unique Phenomenon ... 'Life' ...

We must love children ... ALL ... keeping an eye on them/guiding them ...

Games, Exercise and other activities ... NO ACCESSES ... 

Gyms and Games under supervision ... 

NO DRUGS ...

MAY WE ALL LIVE THE LITTLE MOMENTS WITH LOVE AND LIGHT ... CAUSE ... ALL THESE LITTLE MOMENTS BECOME VERY BIG ULTIMATELY ... 

May we all be Patient and Grateful to ALLAH KARIM in Good Times and Adversity alike ... HE (SWT) LOVES US ALL ... (Don't know whether these words from Khalil Gibran are relevant or not) ... 

You are the bows from which your children 

as living arrows are sent forth. 

The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite, 

and He bends you with His might

that His arrows may go swift and far. 

Let your bending in the archer’s hand be for gladness; 

For even as He loves the arrow that flies, 

so He loves also the bow that is stable.
