KNOWLEDGE - ALLAH & SELF - THE KNOWLEDGE

Salam, Duaien and A Very Happy Eid MUBARAK.

Last night Malik Bashir of Bin Qutb Foundation hosted a sumptuous Iftar-Dinner at his residence. It was a beautiful gathering of Dreamers, Deliverers, Idealists and Pragmatists. The 'Show-Casing', displayed Huge Efforts, Success Sheets, Plans for Posterity and Resilience of Resolution. I, probably was the 'Idealist only' having nothing practical to showcase.

Their achievements bore testimony to sincerity of purpose, passion to serve the humanity and KNOWLEDGE to Realise the Dreams ... Knowledge being the Principal.

Knowledge illuminates and ensures safe passage, success and persistence. Holy scriptures emphasis acquisition of knowledge repeatedly. Hippocrates (Buqraat) had famously said, 'Disciplines of Knowledge are too many, choose that 'ONE Only' which automatically leads you to all others' and that is Knowledge about the Creator and the Creation (Self). It is famously said, 'He who knows himself, can (easily) know the God'.

People have spent lives in quest of self and Allah whereas both are the easiest to access. Allah says in Quran, 'Nearest to your Jugular I Am' ...

Buddha under that famous tree in Giya was asked, what have you got? Nothing he said, it was already with me but I only knew it now.

Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani R A was asked, what was meant by the utterances of Hussain bin Mansur Hallaj and Bayazid Bustami? He said, you have to make yourself eligible to know what it meant.

Saint Augustine of 4th century AD had said, I was searching for God far and away while He was just around me.

That eligibility to know God, Self and Secrets of Universe comes through knowledge ... When there is knowledge then, 'even sky is not the limit'...

Knowledge is there waiting for the seekers, Prophet Solomon A S had said, 'There is nothing new to be said under the sun ... it is there already, seek it'.

Knowledge, THE CONQUEROR, needs to be sought the way it must be. Problem with the present system of learning is that it tells what to learn but doesn't teach HOW TO ... That HOW TO is there in the Holy Scriptures, taught and practiced by the Prophets, Sages, Saints and Men of Wisdom and their methods.

Muhammad Alghazali R A having found himself and Allah Karim, proclaimed, "WORSHIP ALLAH ONLY in the way of Prophet SAWS and SERVE ALLAH's CREATION SELFLESSLY with best of your abilities leaving the reward to Creator" ... That is what THE KNOWLEDGE taught him.
