Blessed State - Leopolds Loving Nation - And the Leopolds !

... And the Show goes on ...

Friends, I have never had any doubt that creation of Pakistan is exclusively the Blessing of Allah Almighty. Logic and history both will never able be to come up with an accordant explanation. Pakistan, therefore, definitely is a TRUST from God and we (like Bani-Israel) have failed to measure unto, hence we are possessed by the unending spiral of misery and incompetence. 

While our soldiers make the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty persistently, we are mesmerised by our *Leopolds, always ready to blindly lie and die for them. (Leopold II of Belgium has been one of the greediest characters of history. He earned around 500 Million Dollars from his rubber plantations in Congo and was responsible for killing of some 8 Million people in the process).

*By our Leopolds, I mean both Civilian Monocrats and Military Despots.

We, the people, may not be responsible for the conception and imposition of our Leopolds but are definitely partners in their survival and legacy. The leader and the led rely on each other and the ideal leader is always aware of this mutual responsibility. Unfortunately here the led are merely the fodder for survival of the leaders' bottoms in the gold churning chairs. Our leaders have never cared for and felt answerable to the masses. A leader without a sense of humanity is only a leader by virtue of brutality while great leaders inspire more by force of character and principle than by fear and intimidation ... (CHARACTER and PRINCIPLE, they grow in the lands far off). The ideal leader is also someone who can be trusted. Can ours be? Most of ours are the Tafsir of, 'Oh you, who believe, why do you say what you do not do?' (61:2).

... And the Show goes on ... What we are witnessing in the Courts, On the Floors, Over the Roads, is dangerous ... The very least ... But do they understand:-

آگ کا کیا ہے پل دو پل میں لگتی ہے

بجھتے بجھتے ایک زمانہ لگتا ہے

There is nothing more demoralizing than a people who can not clearly articulate why they are doing what they are doing?

آذان دینا ہمارا کام لیکن نماز تو ہم اپنی ہی پڑھ سکتے ہیں ناں  ۔ ۔ اس لئے ۔ ۔ مندرجہ ذیل اشعار کا لطف لیجیئے:۔

جس دن میری جبیں کسی دہلیز پر جھکے

اُس دن خدا شگاف میرے سر میں ڈال دے

آ تیرے مال و زر کو میں تقدیس بخش دوں

لا اپنا مال و زر میری ٹھوکر میں ڈال دے

بھاگ ایسے رہنما (وں) سے جو لگتا ہے خضر سا

جانے یہ کس جگہ تجھے چکر میں ڈال دے
