Entire country on the protest prowl; one of the CMs threatens to burn down the provincial WAPDA HQ, another says, 'patriotism stops him otherwise he would have been holding his office outside Quaid Mausoleum waving a hand fan', a la Shahbaz Sharif of PPP era.
Twin cities too are up in arms against the power outages, {voices are coming out from the August Houses as well}, however, enchanting ice cool, WIFI loaded METRO has its own fascination. It is like a LOTUS above the dirty slum of ugly traffic jam. I witnessed its splendour, very majestic ....
I have had the good fortune of having some guests from my native village in the last few days; a young girl with an eye ailment, an old lady with a lump in the chest, an expecting mother; all in search of quality medical advice and few candidates of PPSC for lectureship.
I put my driving cap on (these countryside people are extremely sincere but get hurt very easily ... so instead of a driver I willingly assumed the responsibility). Medical facilities are mostly in the Cantonment Area but PPSC Test Centres were astride the Murree Road. While one was helplessly stuck in jam-packed traffic for hours, [good thing however was that candidates did reach the Centres though it took more than 3 hours to traverse about 10 Ks] THE METRO DANCED AROUND LIKE A RED FLAMINGO, Billions of Rupees well spent.
Now coming to the subject; what this Nation requires and what the Leaders of this great Nation do defies logic and explanation. Any improvement from DELIBERATE SELF-CENTERED MINDSETS .... NO GO.
"Self-centeredness with CONTENT PRODUCTION only works for a select few THAT HAVE ALREADY ESTABLISHED A POWERFUL BRAND." These POWERFUL BRAND/MINDSET are the Rulers who have been taking turns since 70s and haven't learnt an atom or manifested a slight change .... HELL THEY PROUDLY SAY THAT 'IF WHAT THEY DO IS A SIN THEY WILL REPEAT IT 100 TIMES'...
The requirement of the Nation will not change till the time these are not made up, hence it is for the aspirants that are just starting and eager to do something to step up and for that :
"You must always play to your audience. IT'S A GREAT RULE OF THUMB. Before you create any 'piece of content' ask yourself, 'Why would anyone care about this?' If there isn't a compelling reason, then move on to another content effort. Remember, content marketing is USER SELECTED. MAKE SOMETHING THE USER WANTS TO SELECT."
Let me figure out some of the things the users want to have :

Reduced gap between the HAVES and HAVENOTs.
Uninterrupted flow of Electricity and other commodities of life.
Clean Drinking Water and Expert Medical Advice/Medicines at the UC Level.
Top of the Line Compulsory, unified curriculum integrated with religious syllabus Education for all with a dedicated Public Sector University at the Division having School/Colleges at village/UC, Professional Colleges at the District and Vocational Institutes at the Tehsil Level.
Equal and Merit based job opportunities for all.
Along-side M/Ways and Metros improved communication infra-structure in the entire land.
Every Developmental PURSUIT SCIENTIFIC.
The List can go on and on BUT.....DON'T YOU RIGHT HONOURABLE LEADERS OF THE VOICELESS THINK THAT 'WHEN THE ORDINARY ARE DYING INSIDE THE HOMES AND OUTSIDE ON THE ROADS, THEIR REPS HAVE NO RIGHT TO SIT IN THE (FREE) AC HOUSES OR OFFICES. YOU MUST DO ALL OTHER THINGS HURRIEDLY TOO THE WAY YOU DID THE METRO ..... HALF DEAD PEOPLE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO SUSTAIN/RESTRAIN ...... ANY MORE.'
BOTTOM LINE : METROS ARE GOOD .... BUT ..... SET YOUR PRIORITIES RIGHT.
