Salam !
They say 'History keeps repeating itself' ...... and keeping in view the frequency of repetition, it can safely be said that the saying is heuristically proven.
Stepping aside from the saying let us get back to the subject; once upon a time there used to be a Sultanate of Khwarezm extending from the Amu Darya River Delta in Western Central Asia, bordered on the North by Aral Sea, on the East by Kyzylkum Desert, on the South by Karakoram Desert and the West by Ustyurt Plateau.
This beautiful land was being ruled by Muhammad Shah Khwarzem when the juggernaut of Genghis Khan erupted and drowned everything coming in its way. Muhammad Shah ran away but his young son Jalaluddin faced the Tartars like no body in the world could dream of.
He won and lost many battles and kept defying the mongol wrath for many years. He told the Rulers at Dehli (Altutmush), Caliph at Baghdad (Mohtasim Billah most probably) and others 'I AM THE LAST FORT' but no one heard him. He kept defying the odds but for how long? One day he vanished on his horseback ........... REST IS HISTORY.
....... Jalaluddins however keep coming and HISTORY KEEPS REPEATING ITSELF. We too have had our fare share of Jalaluddins but our response has not been any different than the woeful doings of the people mentioned above. Kotwals, Qazis and the Scavengers, all displayed unique indifference, antipathy, insensitivity and singular lack of foresight hence the JALALUDDINS were forced to wade the Indus.
All Jalaluddins probably had (and shall always have) the SELF-INTEREST in their standpoints but their victory would have definitely benefit the posterity. Their defeat {again the heuristic says} has forever spelled doom, destruction and Devil hegemony. Will it be any different?
[There must be people who would just hate JALALUDDINS but we've got to understand...
Everybody is more than entitled to their opinions but until we've at
least been in some of those shoes and the requisite sincerity of purpose, our opinion is what it is, probably
an unqualified opinion.]
............ SO ALLOW ME TO ASK, "WILL THE JALAUDDIN RISE AGAIN OR SHALL BE DROWNED FOREVER?'and the mongols will keep on raising the domes of skulls.
Dheron Duaien.
