غلط کار نوں نہ کدیں معاف کرنا
پرہیوں چ بہہ کے تے انصاف  کرنا

جہڑی اوکھی آونی او سِرے اُتے چاونی
سِر  چا  لہوناں  پگ  نہ  لجاونی 

وڈیاں دی محنت اساں کیتی کچی
لج کتھوں آونی ایں  پگ ای نہ بچی

نہ ہَل  نہ پنجالی  نہ دانداں دے  جوڑے
نہ  بھیڈاں دے اجڑ  نہ کھوتے نہ گھوڑے 
 
نہ لسیاں ای رہیاں  نہ مکھن دے پیڑے
 نہ رینڈیاں ای رہیاں  نہ رھے پد پہیڑے
 
 پنجالی چ بنھ لینی  گائیں نال کھوتی
 چھنگی ھوی گوڈیاں تائیں جٹے نے دھوتی
 
ایہہ وی یارو کوی بُھلن آلی  گل اے
بِیڑے دی جائ تے  لا لینی ٹھل اے

بنا کے سچائ نوں گلے دا گھناں
ھر حال  وچ  خوش  باش دہنا

ھن نہ ہملائیاں دِسن نہ لبھدے نے ملھے
 نہ  بنن  کَھلاڑے  نہ  پوندے  نے  پھلے

ھُسڑ  کے  ٹھڈے  ساہ بھریندے  پئے آں
ریتاں کے بنسنن  سوچیندے  پئے  آں

سلام اور ڈھیروں دعایئں ۔

گزرے ھوے کچھ عشروں میں  اتنی تبدیلیاں رو نما ھوئ ہیں جتنی صدیوں میں نہیں ھوئ تھیں ۔ ایک حساس  پنجابی شاعر نے اس سب کا کیا خوبصورت نقشہ کھینچا ھے 

دساں میں اج گزرے ویلے دیاں گلاں
کھا گیاں جنہاں نوں زمانے دیاں چھلاں 
او ویلا جنہاں تے مٹی پا گیا اے
جنہاں نوں زمانے دا گھن کھا اے
او گینٹی دا وجھا ، پھہوڑی دی ہتھی
پنجالی تے ارلی ، او پھالےتے ھلاں
بھل گئے نے سانوں او گھڑے تے مٹاں
کتھے نے  او ترنگڑ ، کتھے گیاں چھٹاں 
کھرے لنگھیاں ویلیاں دے کھجیندے پئے آں
بک بک ھنجواں دے وھیندے پئے آں
نویں ویلے دیاں واواں جو گھلیاں
بھل گئے نے ویہڑے ، اجڑ گیاں گلیاں
او پانچے تے لیکاں تے کرتے تے بچیاں
کوٹھے وی کچے تے گلیاں وی کچیاں  
 
بھوں پا کے مٹی چ کوٹھیاں تے لاونئ 
چلھ تے کوٹھیلی اچیچی لماونئئ  
 
نہ چوری نہ ڈاکا او چن مینڈھے مکھناں 
ھُڑے دے اگے ہِک ڈِھنگر چا رکھناں 
 
ویلا ھن سائنسی اے کیہڑی گل دی گھاٹ اے 
روٹی گرم رکھن دے لئ ھاٹ پاٹ اے 
 
بھانویں او سائنس توں کیئ کوہ دور آھے
روٹی گرم رکھن لیئ سرپوس ضرور آھے
ددھ چون لیئ ھونی پتل دی باٹی
چنگی جہی ھونی مدھانی تے چاٹی
نہ دیگاں نہ سٹیل دے بھانڈے کوی ھونے
وجاہ شادیاں اُتے کٹوے پکونے

 پھلاہیاں ککراں ، تے  قوے دے بالن
پیالے چ پانی، کھانچی چ سالن
اُنھاں ویلیاں نوں ڈھوڈیندے پیئے آں 
ھتیں کیتیاں بھگتیندے پیئے آن

LET GO !

Dheron Duaien !

       In our daily chores so much happens; good, bad and the ugly. Good lifts our spirits and makes us HAPPY AND GO, but the other too cause lot of brooding which may linger on for DAYS for some of us affecting us psychologically and physiologically. I came across following little WRITE UP with a positive message for all of us HANG ONs ...... READ AND REFLECT :
To let go isn't to forget, not to think about, or ignore.
It doesn't leave feelings of anger, jealousy or regret. 
Letting go isn't winning, and it isn't losing.
It's not about pride, and it's not about how you appear, and it's not obsessing or dwelling on the past.
Letting go isn't blocking memories or thinking sad thoughts, and doesn't leave emptiness, hurt or sadness. 
It is not giving in or giving up. 
Letting go isn't about loss and it's not defeat.

TO LET GO IS TO CHERISH MEMORIES, AND OVERCOME AND MOVE ON. 
IT IS HAVING AN OPEN MIND AND CONFIDENCE IN THE FUTURE. 
LETTING GO IS ACCEPTING.
IT'S LEARNING AND EXPERIENCING AND GROWING. 

To let go is to be thankful  for the experiences that made you laugh, made you cry and made you grow. 
It's about all that you have, all that you had, and that you will have soon again. 
LETTING GO IS HAVING THE COURAGE TO ACCEPT,  CHANGE, AND THE STRENGTH TO KEEP MOVING.  
Letting go is growing up. 
It's realizing that the heart can sometimes be the most potent remedy. 
TO LET GO IS TO OPEN A DOOR, AND TO CLEAR A PATH, AND TO SET YOU FREE.

A LOVING BROTHER ... A SINCERE FRIEND !

Dheron Duaien for the ONE I AM WRITING ABOUT and all friends !

Life is an unrelenting journey; it is continual, discreet and capricious. Every one has to undertake this voyage as there are no choices here; the destinations however are exclusive and preordained for life itself and happenings therein.

We the MEN from 55th PMA Long Course started the cruise of our lives  individually but embarked upon 'THE TRAVEL OF OUR LIVES' collectively on that unforgettable Day, May 12, 1975. The fraternity thus evolved through the bondage of comradeship, sincerity, affection and SENSE OF BELONGING has solidified with every passing day. As they say "WE CAN GROW SEPARATELY WITHOUT GROWING APART" we too started together but one by one reached our destiny; few left before the advent of 21st Century, few in the first decade of new Millennium and today November 7, 2014 marks the successful completion of 'THE TOUR' on the  efficacious  'RETURN TO HOME' by  Lieutenant General Muhammad Zahir-Ul-Islam, Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military). {He holds the honour of lasting the longest}

Zahir scaled the lofty heights of professional glory through sheer industry, sincerity of  purpose, unflinching faith in the cause and NEVER SAY DIE APPROACH. It is said that  "Being male is a matter of birth, being a man is a matter of age, but being a gentleman is a matter of choice." A thorough gentleman who made the choice very early on in his life or may be it is in the genes; Humility is his virtue, adherence to Values is his forte, Honour and Dignity are his profile.

He always liked to be in the backed ground, self projection is not in his manuals. He has never been a Media savvy person and that probably is the reason THAT FEW STRAY AND FRUSTRATED PRINT AND BROADCAST JOURNALIST tried to run him down. Salute to the Nation Pakistan and the patriotic Media who stood rock solid in the face of the malicious onslaught and those conspiring GOT THE EGG ON THEIR FACES. They and their supporters may still be sharpening the teeth to dig in again but they could not cause any harm then and Allah Willing would not be able to do now; because Allah Karim Says in Quran :
Look after your own souls, he who goes astray cannot harm you if you are guided. You shall all return to Allah, and He will inform you of what you have done.Al-Maida (5) : 105.

On behalf of everyone of 55th I tell you mate YOU ARE A RARE BREED, ONE OF A KIND, EACH ONE OF US IS PROUD OF YOU ....... AND WISH YOU AND FAMILY ALL THE BEST THERE IS, IN THE LIFE OUTTA UNIFORM.

I WOULD NOT SAY ANY THING ABOUT 'YOU & ME' .... FOR SUFFICE IT TO SAY "YOU ARE A LOVING BROTHER AND A SINCERITY PERSONIFIED FRIEND ... WHAT YOU THOUGHT OF ME AND DID FOR ME; I CAN NEVER RECIPROCATE AND NO AMOUNT OF GRATITUDE WOULD BE ENOUGH ..... MAY ALLAH KARIM REWARD YOU".

Following derivation is for you Brother ... !
Success does not come from having one’s work recognised by others. It is the fruit of the seed that you lovingly planted.
Without a second thought, you can say to yourself: ‘I succeeded.’
You succeeded in gaining respect for your work because you did not work only to survive, but to demonstrate your love for others.
You managed to finish what you began, even though you did not foresee all the traps along the way. 
And when your enthusiasm waned because of the difficulties you encountered, you reached for discipline.
And when discipline seemed about to disappear because you were tired, you used your moments of repose to think about what steps you needed to take in the future.

You were not paralysed by the obstacles that are inevitable in the lives of those who take risks. 
You didn’t sit agonising over what you lost when you had an idea that didn’t work. 
You didn’t stop when you experienced moments of glory, because you had not yet reached your goal.

And when you realized that you would have to ask for help, you did not feel humiliated. And when you learned that someone needed help, you showed them all that you had learned, without fearing that you might be revealing secrets or being used by others.

WANT TO BE A LEADER ?

Salam and Dheron Duaien !

MY FACEBOOK STATUS OF TODAY READS :
"There are many elements to a campaign.
Leadership is number one.
Everything else is number two."
A leader, however, can exercise the 'Number One Element' only if he knows WHAT HE IS UPTO AND HOW HE WANTS TO GO ABOUT IT; MAKING THE BEST POSSIBLE USE OF 'EVERYTHING ELSE NUMBER TWO'? 

WE {FORTUNATELY ... OR MAY BE UNFORTUNATELY} HAVE ON THE DISPLAY LOT OF LEADERS AND EACH ONE OF THEM WANTS TO 'CLIMB THE MOUNTAIN'.  

THEY START WITH A BANG AND THEN EVAPORATE LIKE THIN ICE ON THE VERY FIRST HURDLE. 

FOLLOWING FROM A MASTER MAY BE OF SOME HELP TO THOSE WHO STILL WANT TO TRY, PERSIST AND KEEP GOING : 
Choose the Mountain You Want To Climb (DELIBERATELY): Don’t pay attention to what other people say, such as “that one’s more beautiful” or “this one’s easier”. You’ll be spending lots of energy and enthusiasm to reach your objective, so you’re the only one responsible and you should be sure of what you’re doing.
Know How To Get Close To It (MIRACLES DO HAPPEN BUT YOU HAVE TO PULL YOUR OWN WEIGHT): Mountains are often seen from far off – beautiful, interesting, full of challenges. But what happens when we try to draw closer? Roads run all around them, flowers grow between you and your objective, what seemed so clear on the map is tough in real life. So try all the paths and all the tracks until eventually one day you’re standing in front of the top that you yearn to reach.
Learn From Someone Who Has Already Been Up There(THERE HAVE BEEN): No matter how unique you feel, there is always someone who has had the same dream before you and ended up leaving marks that can make your journey easier; places to hang the rope, trails, broken branches to make the walking easier. The climb is yours, so is the responsibility, but don’t forget that the experience of others can help a lot.
When Seen Up Close, Dangers Are Controllable (COURAGE AND GUTS HOWEVER ARE REQUIRED): When you begin to climb the mountain of your dreams, pay attention to the surroundings. There are cliffs, of course. There are almost imperceptible cracks in the mountain rock. There are stones so polished by storms that they have become as slippery as ice. But if you know where you are placing each footstep, you will notice the traps and how to get around them.
The Landscape Changes, So Enjoy It (BRACE FOR THE CHANGES): Of course, you have to have an objective in mind – to reach the top. But as you are going up, more things can be seen, and it’s no bother to stop now and again and enjoy the panorama around you. At every meter conquered, you can see a little further, so use this to discover things that you still had not noticed.
Respect Your Body (OVER/UNDER ESTIMATION WILL KILL YOU): You can only climb a mountain if you give your body the attention it deserves. You have all the time that life grants you, as long as you walk without demanding what can’t be granted. If you go too fast you will grow tired and give up half way there. If you go too slow, night will fall and you will be lost. Enjoy the scenery, take delight in the cool spring water and the fruit that nature generously offers you, but keep on walking.
Respect Your Soul (DON'T CHEAT YOURSELF AND OTHERS): Don’t keep repeating “I’m going to make it”. Your soul already knows that, what it needs is to use the long journey to be able to grow, stretch along the horizon, touch the sky. An obsession does not help you at all to reach your objective, and even ends up taking the pleasure out of the climb. But pay attention: also, don’t keep saying “it’s harder than I thought”, because that will make you lose your inner strength.
Be Prepared To Climb One Kilometer More (PERSEVERE): The way up to the top of the mountain is always longer than you think. Don’t fool yourself, the moment will arrive when what seemed so near is still very far. But since you were prepared to go beyond, this is not really a problem.
Be Happy When You Reach The Top (THAT WILL HAPPEN ONLY IF YOU DON'T QUIT HALF WAY THROUGH): Cry, clap your hands, shout to the four winds that you did it, let the wind – the wind is always blowing up there – purify your mind, refresh your tired and sweaty feet, open your eyes, clean the dust from your heart. It feels so good, what was just a dream before, a distant vision, is now part of your life, you did it!
Make A Promise (YOU HAVE ALREADY BROKEN ENOUGH): Now that you have discovered a force that you were not even aware of, tell yourself that from now on you will use this force for the rest of your days. Preferably, also promise to discover another mountain, and set off on another adventure.
Tell Your Story (POSSIBLE ONLY 'IF YOU DO IT'): Yes, tell your story! Give your example. Tell everyone that it’s possible, and other people will then have the courage to face their own mountains.

Salam and Dheron Duaien !
We have been witnessing strange things off late ... Seemingly 'RESIGNED TO FATE' masses have come alive suddenly ... Thousands are turning up to fill the grounds on days' notices ... Environs are becoming ELECTRIC ... Passions are finding EXPRESSION ... ELDERS HAVE GLOW IN THEIR EYES ... WOMEN FOLK ARE JOINING IN THE 'PROCEEDINGS FOR FUTURE' ... YOUTH IS DANCING ON THE AISLES ... Speakers while narrating THE DOOMSDAY SCENARIO are sowing HOPE day in and day out ... 

AND HOPE IS THE WAY TO GO, Allah Karim Declares in Quran-E-Hakeem :
........ Indeed no one despairs of Allah’s mercy except the faithless lot. YUSUF {12} : 87.
O My servants who have committed excesses against their own souls, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed Allah will forgive all sins. Indeed, He is the All-forgiving, the All-merciful. AZ-ZUMR {39} : 53.
So Hope and Perseverance are the Key, therefore as Paulo Coelho said :
Avoid those who say: ‘That’s it, I’ll go no further.’  Because what they have failed to grasp is that neither life nor death has an end; they are merely stages of eternity.
Stay close to those who say: ‘Everything’s fine as it is, but we still need to move on.’ Because they understand the need to keep going beyond the known horizon.
Discipline is important, but it needs to leave doors and windows open to intuition and the unexpected.
Stay close to those who sing, tell stories, enjoy life and whose eyes sparkle with happiness. Because happiness is contagious and will always manage to find a solution whereas logic can find only an explanation for the mistake made.
Stay close to those who allow the light of Love to shine forth without restrictions, judgements or rewards, without letting it be blocked by the fear of being misunderstood.  
No matter how you are feeling, get up every morning and prepare to let your light shine forth.
Those with eyes to see will see your light and be enchanted by it.

MAJORITY RULE !

DEMOCRACY or DICTATORSHIP? 

I came across a 'piece' by Robert J. Ringer which reads : 
Next to inflation, majority rule is the most ingenious scheme ever contrived ......... Most people have never dared to question the basic morality or logic in the assumption that the majority should have power over the minority. 
A majority of the people in the South {America} once believed in black slavery. Did that make it moral? A lynch mob is majority rule stripped of its fancy trappings and its facade of respectability. 
In a community where homosexuals outnumber heterosexuals, should the majority have the right to outlaw sex between married partners of the opposite sex? 
In a community where atheists outnumber non- atheists, should the majority have the right to outlaw the practice of religion? 
... a dictatorship allows only a small number of people to interfere with the rights of others, a democracy makes it possible for great numbers of people to impose their will on others -- through the force of government. Is an act of aggression more right if carried out by the majority than by a dictator? 
{IN MAJORITY RULE} Since approximately half the eligible voters vote this means that approximately 75% of the people are ruled by 25% of the people.

VIEWS/COMMENTS? Because "Opinions that are well rooted should grow and change like a healthy tree."
