بے جنوں اٌگھی نھیں ملتی

Allah Karim Sab ko Aaisa Momin Bana Dey kay chalti huey Hawain batlati Jain - koi Sahib-e-Eeman Aa raha hai. Aameen.

And even were We to show them mercy and remove whatever distress might befall them [in this life], they would still persist in their overweening arrogance, blindly stumbling to and fro.

And indeed We tested them through suffering, but they did not abase themselves.

Until We open before them a gate of [truly] severe suffering [in the life to come]: and then, lo! they will be broken in spirit.

O MEN! Pay heed to Allah Karim's messages for it is He who has endowed you with hearing, and sight, and minds: yet how seldom are you grateful? - AL-MU'MINUN {23} : 75 - 78.

History bears witness that nation after nation has gone through the phenomenon highlighted by Allah Karim in above quoted Verses. Most of them perished but few survived too, - by following the Chosen Ones from amongst their-selves. Those Chosen Ones have always been the 'Sahibaan-e-Junoon'. Junoon is the pinnacle of 'ISHQ'. It can be ISHQ-E-ILLAHI or some worldly pursuit. The condition of Junoon is characterized by a singular sincerity of purpose, unflinching faith in the cause and its truthfulness, intense optimism, Sood-o-Ziyan (Gain or Loss) being no object whatsoever with an absolute conviction in the Blessings of Allah Karim. Quran in its parables narrates to us the virtues of the beholders, where family, wealth, power, coercion and life itself didn't matter at all in pursuance of the objectives - assigned or self prescribed. They were contended, successful and above reproach then, are the Role Models today and will be perched on the highest Pedestal on the day of Resurrection. Prophets of Allah Karim are an entity apart from other mortal beings but Quran tells us about others who were not the Prophets but believed in truth and were Sahibaan-e-Junoon. There is the story of the Men of Cave (Ashaab-e-Kahf), the man who came running from one end of the town (Sura Yasin), Zulqarnain and others. They have been mentioned with respect in Quran and a promise of highest reward hereafter.

The world has had Sahibaan-e-Junoon throughout its existence in every field of life, there have been political leaders, generals, scientists, sportsmen, academicians, artisans whose junoon made them excellence personified. They did and achieved unbelievable objectives. Pakistan as a country (an Attiya-e-KhudaWandi) has its share of Sahibaan-e-Junoon except in the leadership sphere where Quaid-e-Azam RA is the only luminary standing tall, revered and unblemished on the heap of dwarfs, self-serving, conscious-less scavengers hence today's Pakistan is the exegesis of above Quranic Verses.

Lets pray that May Allah Karim in His Infinite Mercy Give us a Sahib-e-Junoon like Quaid RA and May we be true to Allah Karim, His Rasool Salalho Wasalam, Pakistan and to ourselves. May Islam and Pakistan become our Junoon and everything else of life take back seat till we redeem ourselves. Aameen. We join Hazarat-e-Allam Iqbal RA in his prayers:-
