THE STORY OF THE PENCIL.......WORTH A THOUGHT !

Salam ! 

I came across this thought provoking n reflect-able story; sharing it with the hope that you will like it too :
A boy was watching his grandmother write a letter. At one point he asked:
‘Are you writing a story about what we’ve done? Is it a story about me?’ 
His grandmother stopped writing her letter and said to her grandson:
I am writing about you, actually, but more important than the words is the pencil I’m using. I hope you will be like this pencil when you grow up.’

Intrigued, the boy looked at the pencil. It didn’t seem very special.
‘But it’s just like any other pencil I’ve ever seen!’

‘That depends on how you look at things. It has five qualities which, if you manage to hang on them, will make you a person who is always at peace with the world.’
‘First quality: you are capable of great things, but you must never forget that there is a hand guiding your steps. We call that hand God, and He always guides us according to His will.’
‘Second quality: now and then, I have to stop writing and use a sharpner. That makes the pencil suffer a little, but afterwards, he’s much sharper. So you, too, must learn to bear certain pains and sorrows, because they will make you a better person.
‘Third quality: the pencil always allows us to use an eraser to rub out any mistakes. This means that correcting something we did is not necessarily a bad thing; it helps to keep us on the road to justice.’
‘Fourth quality: what really matters in a pencil is not its wooden exterior, but the graphite inside. So always pay attention to what is happening inside you.’
‘Finally, the pencil’s fifth quality: it always leaves a mark. in just the same way, you should know that everything you do in life will leave a mark, so try to be conscious of that in your every action’.

دعاۓ رمضان

 شروع اللہ کے نام سے جو نہایت رحم فرمانےوالا، بہت مہربان ھے 

 تمام تعریفیں رب العالمین کے لیے مخصوص ھیں جو ھر تعریف کرنے والے کی تعریف سے مستغنی ھے ۔ جس نے رمضان المبارک کے روزے فرض قرار دیے اپنے بندوں کے تزکیہ کے لیے ۔ جس نے قرانِ  مجید نازل کیا جو ھر چیز کا روشن بیان ھے ۔

صلوٰۃ و سلام کا سیدنا محمدﷺ پر نزول ھو جو خود ربِ کریم کے صلوٰۃ نازل کرنے کی وجہ سے ھر صلوٰۃ بھیجنے والے کی صلوٰۃ سے مستغنی ھیں ۔ ان کے اوصاف سراپاقران ھیں ۔ وہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے محبوب ھیں، قیامت کے دن ان کا جھنڈا ھر جھنڈے سے بلندھو گا ۔

ھم گواہی دیتے  ھیں کہ اللہ کے سواکویٔ عبادت کا مستحق نہیں، وہ واحد ھے، اس کا کویٔ شریک نہیں۔
ھم یہ بھی گواہی دیتے ھیں کہ سیدنا محمدﷺ اللہ کے بندےاور اس کے رسول ھیں۔

اےاللہ ھم اپنے نفس کے شراوربد اعمالیوں سے تیری پناہ میں آتے ھیں یہ جانتے ھوۓ کہ جسے تو ہدایت دے اسے کویٔ گمراہ نہیں کر سکتا اور جس کو   تو گمراہی پر چھوڑ دے اسے کویٔ  ہدایت  دے  نہیں سکتا۔

اےاللہ اس مقدس مہینے کے صدقے ھم پر حق واضح کر اور باطل سے اجتناب کرنے کی توفیق عطا فرما ۔

اےاللہ اس مقدس ماہ میں ھمارے سینوں پر قران کے اسرار کا القا کر اور اس کے معانی کےلیے انہیں کھول دے ۔قران کے انوار سے ھمارےقلوب کی تاریکیوں کو منور فرما ۔

اے اللہ  ھمارے علم کو زیادہ کر ۔ھمارے روزوں اور دوسری عبادات کو اپی بارگاہ میں مقبول کر دے ۔ انھیں ھماری مغفرت کا ذریعہ ا ور نجات کا وسیلہ بنا دے ۔

اے اللہ ھمیں دنیا میں نبی ﷺ کی زیارت اور قیامت میں آپ ﷺ کی شفاعت سے بہرہ مند کر دے ۔

ھمیں سلامتی کے ساتھ اسلام پر زندہ رکھ اور ایمان پر  عزت کی موت عطا فرما ۔

اے اللہ ھم تیرے بندےھیں  اور تجھ سے کیٔے ھوے وعدے  اورعہد پر قائم رہنے کی  توفیق مانگتے ھی  ۔
 تیرے بے حد وحساب انعامات کا اقرار کرتے ھیں  ۔
اپنے ان گنت گناھوں کااقرارکرتے ھیں ۔

ھمیں اپنے بے پایاں کرم ، اپنے حبیب ﷺ کی رحمت اور ماہِ مقدس کے واسطے معاف فرما کیونکہ تیرےسوا کویٔ گناھوں کو معاف کرنے والا ھے نہیں ۔

آمین یارب العالمین
  !

آپ کو کیسے خیالات آتے ھیں ؟

کسی نے کہا ھے : دل پر گزرنے والے خیالات چار قسم کے ھوتےھیں ۔

 اللہ عزوجل کی طرف سے ؛

 ساتھ لگے فرشتے کی طرف سے ؛

 اپنے نفس کی طرف سے ؛

 شیطان مردود کی طرف سے ۔
اللہ کریم کی طرف سے آنے والا خیال انسان کو جنجھوڑنے اور اصل کی طرف متوجہ اور بیدار کرنے کے لیے ھوتا ھے ۔

 ملکی خیال  اللہ کریم کی  اطاعت گزاری پر برانگیختہ کرتا ھے ۔

 نفسانی خیالات نفسانی خواھشات کے طالب ھوتے ھیں ۔

 اور شیطان جو کہ ازلی دشمن ھے انسان کا وہ اپنے وسوسوں اور خیالات سے اللہ عزوجل کی نافرمانی پر ابھارتا ھے !
توحید کی علمبرداری خدایٔ خیالات کی امین بن جاتی ھے ۔

 معرفت ملکی خیال کو قبول کرنا سکھاتی ھے ۔

 ایمان نفس اور اس کی ناجایٔز خواھشات کو رد کرنے کا ھتیھار ھے ۔

 اسلام کا علم اور اس پر عمل شیطان مردود کو رد کر دیتا ھے ۔


                  (  مشکل کام نہیں ھ؁ے بس ذرا سعی کی ضرورت ھے ۔ اللہ کرم توفیق اور استقامت عطا فرماۓ  ۔  آمین )

تعریف کے لالٔق کون

تعریف کے لالٔق وہ ذات ھےجو اپنی کبریایٔ کی وجہ سے نگاھوں کے ادراک سے محجوب ھے ۔

جو اپنے جلال اور جبروت کی وجہ سےکسی بھی قسم کے ظن و گمان کی یافت میں نہیں آ سکتی ۔

جو مخلوق کی ذات سے مشابہت رکھنے سے منزہ ھے ۔

جو اپنی صفات کی وجہ سے حادث اشیاء کی صفات سے مبرا اور پاک ھے ۔

  • جو ازل سے ھے اور ابد تک باقی رھے گی ۔


جو ھر  قسم کی مشابہت ، مخالفت اور مشاکلت سے بلند و بالا ھے ۔

جو اپنی علامات اور نشانیوں کے ذریعے سے اپنی وحدانیت کی طرف مخلوق کی رھنمایٔ فرماتی ھے ۔

وہ اپنے اسماء، خصوصیات اور صفات کے ذریعہ سے  متعارف ھے ۔

وہ ایک ھے، تنہا ھے ، منفرد ھے ، بے نیاز ھے ، قدیم ھے ، عالم ھے ، قادر ھے ، زندہ ھے ، سمیع ھے ، بصیر ھے ، غالب ھے ، عظیم ھے ، جلیل ھے ، کبیر ھے ، سخی ھے ، مہربان ھے ، سب سے بڑا ھے ، جبار ھے ، باقی ھے ،اول ھے ، معبود ھے ، سردار ھے ، مالک ھے ، پروردگار ھے ، رحمان ھے ، رحیم ھے ، ارادہ کرنے والا ھے ، حکیم ھے ، متکلم ھے ، خالق 
ھے ، رازق ھے ، اور ان تمام صفات سے متصف ھے جو اس نے اپنی بیان کی ھیں اور ان تمام ناموں سے موسوم ھے جو اس نے اپنے لیے مقرر کر رکھے ھیں ۔

نہ اس سے پہلے ’قبل‘ تھا نہ ’بعد‘ کا لفظ اس منقطع کر سکتا ھے ۔


                         وھی خدا ھے ۔

CONTENTMENT AND HAPPINESS

Prayers.

The fisherman and the businessman

(classic Brazilian story, probably also present in other cultures. Someone found the English version, but I could not identify the translator)

There was once a businessman who was sitting by the beach in a small Brazilian village.
As he sat, he saw a Brazilian fisherman rowing a small boat towards the shore having caught quite few big fish.

The businessman was impressed and asked the fisherman, “How long does it take you to catch so many fish?”

The fisherman replied, “Oh, just a short while.”

“Then why don’t you stay longer at sea and catch even more?” The businessman was astonished.

“This is enough to feed my whole family,” the fisherman said.

The businessman then asked, “So, what do you do for the rest of the day?”

The fisherman replied, “Well, I usually wake up early in the morning, go out to sea and catch a few fish, then go back and play with my kids. In the afternoon, I take a nap with my wife, and evening comes, I join my buddies in the village for a drink — we play guitar, sing and dance throughout the night.”

The businessman offered a suggestion to the fisherman.

“I am a PhD in business management. I could help you to become a more successful person. From now on, you should spend more time at sea and try to catch as many fish as possible. When you have saved enough money, you could buy a bigger boat and catch even more fish. Soon you will be able to afford to buy more boats, set up your own company, your own production plant for canned food and distribution network. By then, you will have moved out of this village and to Sao Paulo, where you can set up HQ to manage your other branches.”

The fisherman continues, “And after that?”

The businessman laughs heartily, “After that, you can live like a king in your own house, and when the time is right, you can go public and float your shares in the Stock Exchange, and you will be rich.”

The fisherman asks, “And after that?”

The businessman says, “After that, you can finally retire, you can move to a house by the fishing village, wake up early in the morning, catch a few fish, then return home to play with kids, have a nice afternoon nap with your wife, and when evening comes, you can join your buddies for a drink, play the guitar, sing and dance throughout the night!”

The fisherman was puzzled, “Isn’t that what I am doing now?”

ماں ۔ سب کی


میں آئینہ تھا ، وہ میرا خیال رکھتی تھی
میں ٹوٹتا تھا تو چن کر سنبھال رکھتی تھی


وہ میرے درد کو چنتی تھی اپنی پوروں سے
وہ میرے واسطے خود کو نڈھال رکھتی تھی


وہ ڈوبنے نہیں دیتی تھی دکھ کے دریا میں
میرے وجود کی ناؤ اچھال رکھتی تھی


دعائیں اس کی بلائو کو روک لیتی تھیں
وہ میرے چار سو ہاتھوں کی ڈھال رکھتی تھی


اک ایسی دھن کے نہیں پھر کبھی میں نے سنی
وہ منفرد سا ہنسی میں کمال رکھتی تھی


اسے ندامتیں میری کہاں گوارہ تھیں
وہ میرے واسطے آسان سوال رکھتی تھی


بچھڑ کے اس سے میں دنیا کی ٹھوکروں میں ہوں محسن
وہ پاس تھی تو مجھے لازوال رکھتی تھی

HEART IS THE 'QALB'

Prayers !

One of the most important organs in our bodies is 'THE LUMP OF MUSCLE - HEART' the Pumping Machine which is the FIRST ONE to start working when the Cycle of Life starts and the the LAST ONE to be stopped for bringing the Cycle to a halt.

'What do you think of when you hear the word “heart”? Most people think of that lump of muscle in our chest that pumps blood throughout our body. Generally what people do not think of when they hear the word is “intelligence”, but there is an intelligent side to the heart.' 

The Holy Quran links Heart with so many functions, few are:
RECEIVES GUIDANCE. No calamity can ever befall [man] unless it be by Allah's leave: Hence, WHOEVER BELIEVES IN ALLAH GUIDES HIS 'HEART' TOWARDS THE TRUTH....AT-TAGHABUN (64) : 11.
GAINS WISDOM AND COMPREHENDS. Have they, then, never journeyed about the earth, LETTING THEIR 'HEARTS' GAIN WISDOM........AL-HAJJ (22) : 46.
INCULCATES FEAR OF ALLAH AND STRENGTHENS BELIEF. Believers' 'HEARTS' tremble with awe whenever Allah is mentioned and whose faith is strengthened.....AL-ANFAL (8) : 2.
BRINGS PEACE AND SATISFACTION. Those who believe, and whose 'HEARTS' find satisfaction in the remembrance of Allah: for without doubt in the remembrance of Allah DO HEARTS find satisfaction.....AR-RAAD (13) : 28.
SOURCE OF DESIRES. .....And know that Allah intervenes between man and [the desires of] his 'HEART'....AL-ANFAL (8) : 24.
