AKHTAR N JANJUA

Allah created humans from a male and a female and made into tribes and nations for identification. However the most righteous is the most honoured. No Arab has any superiority over a non-Arab nor is a White any way better than a Black. All created beings are the decendants of Adam and existence of Adam sprang from dust. hence all claims to superiority and greatness, all demands for blood or ransom and all false traits or trends of rule are false.

THE RACE CONTINUES...

As-Salaam-O-alaykum, wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh.

All praises for Allah Karim;  Whom we must worship for 'Him Alone' ! Darood-o-Salam on Prophet ﷺ because Allah Karim ordained us to do that ! Peace upon Prophet's (ﷺ)  family, company, successors and those who follow his path.

Allah Karim Ordained in Quran :
And for those who fear Allah, He (ever) prepares a way out. And He provides for him from (sources) he never could imagine. And if any one puts his trust in Allah, sufficient is (Allah) for him. For Allah will surely accomplish his purpose: verily, for all things has Allah appointed a due proportion. AT-TALAAQ [61] : 2-3.
Two 'key posts' in Military hierarchy in PAKISTAN are falling vacant in next few days/weeks. Historical perspective and ground realities make ONE OF THE TWO extremely important for those who are IN THE CHAIR/WAITING FOR THEIR TURN and WELL WISHERS in particular and FOR PAKISTAN 'IN GENERAL'. While THE CHAIR remains confused, undecided and mired in reflecting on the 'consequences' of LAST TWO SUCH DECISIONS IT MADE or CONSENTED IN, "THE PROMOTION FOR THE PROMOTION" continues {IT HAPPENS ONLY IN PAKISTAN - I Can't say whether MOTIVATED or not}. Some excerpts for reference :-
Gen Rashad likely to be new army chief. Consultations have been completed to choose Kayani’s successor as the government will not wait for November 28, the day when incumbent Chief of Army Staff is going to retire.
General Salim Nawaz a God fearing and upright officer who was wounded in an active operation against terrorist in Balochistan , A Bloch by cast who deserves to be the next COAS.
Lt General Haroon Aslam currently holds the position of Chief of Logistics Staff at the Army Head Quarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi. He enjoys a credible reputation within the military ranks and a strong army career during which he commanded the Bahawalpur Corps and was later promoted to the position of Lt General in April 2010. He also participated in the 2009 Rah-i-Rast operationconducted against Taliban militants in Swat. If the principle of seniority is upheld, then Gen Haroon Aslam will be appointed to the office of COAS.
Lt General Raheel Sharif: Third in the seniority list post October retirements, Lt General Raheel Sharif is younger brother of Nishan-i-Haider Major Shabbir Sharif Shaheed. Promoted as a Lt General in October 2010, he was first entrusted to command the Gujranwala Corps............ Lt General Raheel Sharif is known to Lt General (retired) Abdul Qadir Baloch, a close confidante of PM Nawaz Sharif.
Lt General Tariq Khan: Winner of Sword of Honour in 55 PMA,.....has an illustrious track record as a “fighting commander.”
If the PM decides to opt for Lt General Tariq, he would be able to ward of allegations and criticism of giving all important political and bureaucratic posts only to those who have some linkage with Lahore. Moreover, as the US and international forces withdraw from Afghanistan in 2014, it would be beneficial to have a COAS who has hands on operational field experience of formulating policies to effectively deal with the menace of militancy and the larger issues involved in Afghanistan’s transition.
..........It all started months back and will end only when someone is nominated.

The Al-Chemist (Mr. Paulo Coelho) has something beautiful and very pertinent to say on the subject :
Life is like a great bicycle race, whose aim is to fulfill one’s Personal Legend – that which, according to the ancient alchemists, is our true mission on Earth.
At the start of the race, we’re all together – sharing the camaraderie and enthusiasm.
But as the race progresses, the initial joy gives way to the real challenges: tiredness, monotony, doubts about one’s own ability.
We notice that some friends have already given up, deep down in their hearts – they’re still in the race, but only because they can’t stop in the middle of the road.
This group keeps growing in number, all of them pedaling away near the support car – also known as Routine – where they chat among themselves, fulfill their obligations, but forget the beauty and challenges along the road.
We eventually distance ourselves from them; and then we are forced to confront loneliness, the surprises of unknown bends in the road, and problems with the bicycle.
After a time, when we have fallen off several times, without anyone nearby to help us, we end up asking ourselves whether such an effort is worthwhile.
.......I FOR ONE WOULD VOUCH FOR, PROFESSIONALISM AND COMPETENCE, CHARACTER AND INTEGRITY, PATRIOTISM AND OPTIMISM, RESPECT FOR THE RULE AND OATH AND BELIEF AND SINCERITY OF PURPOSE........THE RACE HOWEVER MUST GO ON.....AS IT HAPPENS ONLY IN PAKISTAN.
