Panama leaks have just laid bare an otherwise well known fact as to how people of influence steal, scavenge and stash their 'yields' into far off shores. A whole lot is feeling the heat but trying to stay in the kitchen come what may. What is going on in the Islamic (or is Liberal?) Republic of Pakistan? I am a student of Islamic and Pakistan History, and I know for sure that Bengalis were the forerunners of Pakistan Movement and Sunni elders stood with Quaid and Pakistan steadfastly. I have read the details of Sunni Conference Sessions from 1920-1946, and fully comprehend the efforts of Mashaikh-e-Azzam and Sunnis in creation of Pakistan. I also know who all opposed Pakistan then and have been determined to undo it ever-since. 

The objective of enemies was simple; all those who stood for Pakistan ... MAKE THEM PAY. Bengalis were made to chew their words and they ran away. .... and the grand design now is to hand over weapons to Sunnis, whose distinctive identity has been PEACE, LOVE and PATRIOTISM.

Entire handling of Mumtaz Qadri (MQ) issue was faulty and based on widely off the mark assumptions. Agenda was to BE MORE LIBERAL THAN THE LIBERALS. The unprecedented strength in the Funeral and Chelum speaks volumes of Muslims' devotion to Rasool Ullah SAWS. NO MISADVENTURES, rather think about as to how to eliminate the chances of MQs coming forth again ... Article 295 has to be enforced in letter and spirit. Whosoever violates it from Head of the State to a poor man on the street ... THE LAW MUST TAKE ITS COURSE BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT THE TRUE ISLAMIC PERSPECTIVE IS...... ???

I do not for a moment approve the language being used by some of the leaders of the Labiak Ya Rasool Ullah Movement, simply put it is outrageous and against the standards set by SUFIYA-E-KIRAAM  ..... but the arrogance of the Government and so called liberals is equally deplorable. It was absolutely despicable the way Interior Minister  spoke. The disdain and contempt was too obvious. He is the same minister who has not been able to find any thing wrong with Mullah Aziz..... and whose entire party was so afraid of gun totting Terrorists that had it not been for the Army, they would have still been begging for dialogue ..... and for whom Punjab is still TERROR FREE....  

{ONCE AGAIN I DEMAND MISADVENTURE MUST BE AVOIDED ..... SUNNIS ARE PEACE LOVING, THEIR LEADERS AND GOVERNMENT SHOULD ENSURE THAT THEY REMAIN SO}.

The learned Doctor has appositely described the political misery engulfing the State of Pakistan and its hapless people. The questions, however, arise :- 

Is it only Pakistan or the entire Muslim World?

The imposed rulers draw inspiration from whom?

When did the Democracy exist AS IT SHOULD BE?

Do the rulers know what formed the basis of governance in a Muslim State or do they really know what DEMOCRACY IS? .......................... And many more ......

I am reminded of the STATE ADDRESSES by two Muslim Rulers, just a century apart which should suffice to answer all questions; address by first caliph after assumption of POWER and exactly after 123 years, the address by Caliph Mansoor Al-Abbasi... 

First tells us what the FEAR OF GOD, GOVERNANCE, JUSTICE, DEMOCRACY, POWER OF PEOPLE, RULES OF ALLEGIANCE and PERSONA OF RULER ought to be ..... Second tells us about the DEGENERATION, ARROGANCE, DISDAIN FOR ANY ACCOUNTABILITY and DESPOTISM ......

Caliph Abu Bakr Siddiq RA Said :-

O men ! here I have been assigned the job of ruling over you, WHILE I AM NOT THE BEST AMONG YOU.

If I do well in my job, HELP ME.  If I do wrong, REDRESS ME.

TRUTHFULNESS IS FIDELITY, LYING IS TREASON.

The weak shall be strong in my eyes, UNTIL I RESTORE TO THEM THEIR RIGHT, and the strong shall be weak in my eye UNTIL I HAVE DISPOSSESSED THEM OF THAT RIGHT.

No people give up fighting for the cause of God, but He inflicts upon them the abject subjection, and NO PEOPLE GIVE THEMSELVES TO LEWDNESS, BUT HE ENVELOPS THEM WITH MISERY.

Obey me as long as I OBEY GOD AND HIS PROPHET.

O men ! I am the Power of God on His earth.

I rule you with His guidance and confirmation.

I am the guardian over His wealth, and I manage it by His will and in accordance with His pattern. I DISBURSE FROM IT WITH HIS PERMISSION, FOR HE HAS MADE ME THE LOCK.

IF HE CHOOSES TO OPEN ME SO THAT YOU MAY RECEIVE THEREFROM AND BE PROVIDED FOR, HE WILL.

AND IF HE CHOOSES TO KEEP ME LOCKED, HE WILL .........

I leave it to the readers to observe the great change which Politics, Family Inc, Wealth and NO-FEAR can bring ......... AND DECIDE THAT RULERS OF TODAY  ...... are ............. SIDDIQS or MANSOORS ......... and ...and ..... and .......... their DEMOCRACY ....

Every year 5 February is observed as Kashmir Day in Pakistan and Kashmiris do it world over. Seminars, Messages, Resolutions and Renewal of Pledge are the manifestations..... 

Kashmiris, however, remain where they have been since partition and long before that .... UNDER THE OCCUPATION, TYRANNY and OPPRESSION .....  

Governments have their (personal) compulsions, (international) pressures and survival dilemmas .... but 'WE THE PEOPLE' stand firmly with the Freedom Struggle of Kashmiris, support their Right of Self  Determination and Salute their :

Gigantic Sacrifices,

Unflinching Commitment to the Cause,

Steely Resolve to withstand the tyranny,

Monumental Perseverance against the heaviest of the odds,

So People of Kashmir, We know YOU HAVE SUCCEEDED ... and.... YOU WILL SUCCEED IN SHA ALLAH :-

"Success is not measured by what you accomplish, BUT BY THE OPPOSITION YOU HAVE ENCOUNTERED, and the COURAGE WITH WHICH you have maintained THE STRUGGLE against OVERWHELMING ODDS."
