باتیں دل کی ! FROM THE HEART

اس ہنگامہٴِ ہاوٴ ھُو میں دل کی بات کون سُنتا ھے ؟

But who listens in this noise?

لیکن کوئ سُنے یا نہ سُنے، یہ بات ھی کچھ ایسی ھے کہ کہی جاتی ھے تو بالآخر سُنی جاتی ھے ۔

No one may listen but 'straight from the heart' has the capacity to pierce through.

انشاللہ سُنی جاے گی ۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ مایوس نہیں ۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔

Don't despair, persist ..... you will be heard.

جس کا یہ عقیدہ ھو کہ سارا عالم ایک بار مر کر دوبادہ جی اٹھے گا وہ اس بات سے کیسے ناامید ھو سکتا ھے کہ خوابیدہ قوم کبھی بیدار نہ ھو گی ۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔

How can you despair when you believe in resurrection ... THE NATION IN DEEP SLUMBER NOW, SHALL RISE ONCE AGAIN ..... so persevere, manifest sincerity of purpose and TRUST IN ALLAH SWT.

ایسا کچھ کر کے چلو یاں کہ بہت یاد رھو ! ۔۔۔

DO SOMETHING SO THAT YOU ARE FONDLY REMEMBERED ONCE YOU ARE NOMORE.

ZEUS .... GO FOR CASTORS AND POLLUXS ... NO DISCRIMINATION !

SALAM & BEST WISHES FOR LAST 'ASHRA' OF RAMADAN !

Watan-e-Aziz is Hot, Humid and Viscous for Masses, Foggy and Parched for 'KHWASIS' (Privileged) and worrisome for the Contemplative Sages.

Harun Rashid wrote in his column of 5th July "تم اتنا اونچا اڑے کہ پہاڑوں کو ٹیلے سمجھنے لگے ۔ ۔ نہایت ھی معتبر ذرالع کے مطابق میاں نواز شریف زرداری صاحب کو پیہم پیغامات بھیج رھے ھیں : میں آپ کی مدد کرنے کا آرزو مند ھوں لیکن مجبور ھوں " ... and in his column of July 9th he reiterated . "جنرل صاحب کے پاس کتنا وقت باقی ھے؟ ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ نواز شریف ذرداری صاحب کو پیغام پر پیغام بھیج رھے ھیں : صبر کیجیے صبر، فی الحال میں مجبور ھوں"۔ .........Inferences of Mr. Harun Rashid are based on logic and precedence.

They say :

Wolves Hunt in Packs.

Bowlers Hunt in Pairs.

Corrupt Hunt with Hacks, In Sacks (Multipurpose) while covering each others' Backs.

It is a Tag Team Action .... Most of my friends must have watched American Wrestling. It is all SCRIPTED and AGREED UPON. In a Tag Team Action one of the Performers gets in to beat or get beat and having played his part TAGS the other Actor in. They all do the same WORK only exception being that someone may be a little better in EXECUTION of the MOVES .... Timings and Flexibility matter a lot .... MEMO GATE and RESTORATION OF EXALTED LORDS etc etc ...and that is it friends .... Lets go over to the other part of the story :

There is a Constellation in the Skies known as "THE TWINS" or in their Latin rendering as GEMINI. Greek legend identifies them with CASTOR and POLLUX (you can substitute for Pakistani Twins whatever you like). They too probably had signed Charter of 'DO IT AND KEEP DOING'.

When Castor was SLAIN IN BATTLE, Pollux was overcome by grief and he entreated ZEUS to revive Castor. Zeus could not do so .... (too much expectations and pressure) .....Castor was a Mortal... Pollux did want to stand with castor however he also wanted to remain IMMORTAL ....... and Tradition tells that Pollux thereafter divided his time to be with Castor in Hades and also with gods at Olympus {now that is Flexibility or Opportunism?}....

Let me Implore Zeus ........ Pak Version .. Nation is looking up to you; know that :

Circumstances and Conditions differ ... we cannot afford Discord, Discrimination and Division ..... History and people do talk why gallows for Castor and palace for Pollux ....

Castors are corrupt to the core but Polluxs are no different. ALL MUST BE TREATED AS 'MORTALS'.

ABANDONMENT IS 'NO OPTION' .... THIS MISS WOULD BE VERY COSTLY FOR PAKISTAN.

Transparency, Fair-play and 'SAME FOR ALL AND EVERY WHERE' Doctrine. NO HOLY COWS ..... but NO SCAPEGOATS AS WELL.

BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE !

SALAM !

Saw some FB pictures of few political and apolitical celebrities visiting Abdul Sattar Edhi ... one of the most beautiful people of Pakistan. Pray, people visiting him acquire some 'BEAUTY' from him.

Here is for all of us aspiring to be BEAUTIFUL.

"The most beautiful people are those who have KNOWN;

DEFAEAT,

SUFFERING,

STRUGGLE,

LOSS,

and have found their WAY out of the DEPTHS.

These persons have;

AN APPRECIATION,

A SENSITIVITY,

and AN UNDERSTANDING OF LIFE,

that fills them with,

COMPASSION,

GENTLENESS,

and a DEEP LOVING CONCERN.

'BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE DO NOT JUST HAPPEN'."

.... STRUGGLE IN THE RIGHT EARNEST MAKES THEM ONE.

IT WAS AVOIDABLE .... IF ONLY ..... !

SALAM AND JUMMA MUBARAK !

Slowly but definitely the Law of Diminishing Returns is taking over. We as a Nation are becoming accustomed to the tragedies of life which are rather a routine than exception. We see, listen, talk and move on; nothing sticks for long, may it be 16 December 1971 or 16 December 2014.

Yesterday a Train carrying a Military Unit plunged into a canal because the bridge underneath gave up (so they claim). Customary statements, افسوس کا اظہار، بریکنگ نیوز AND COAS ONLY IN THE NAMAZ-E-JANAZA, باقی رھے وضو کرتے. The unfortunate accident consumed extremely precious lives and property. My heart goes out to the family i.e PAKISTAN ARMY and KINFOLKS who lost their brave sons and daughters.

DHERON DUAIEN FOR THOSE WHO HAVE GONE, AND FOR THOSE WHO HAVE TO BEAR THE [AVOIDABLE] LOSS. IT WAS AVOIDABLE ..... IF ONLY OUR PRIORITIES WERE NATIONALISTIC AND NOT AIMED AT THE FINANCIAL AND POLITICAL GAINS.

MY SOLEMN APPEAL TO ALL CONCERNED : THEY ARE A RARE COMMODITY. THEY ARE THE LAST LINE OF THIS NATION. YOU WILL BE AROUND ONLY IF THEY WILL BE THERE ... DON'T LOSE THEM ON THE ROADS, TRACKS AND IN THE RAVINES, THESE PLACES ARE NOT FOR THEM THEY BELONG TO THE 'RAMP OF FORT PAKISTAN' AS GUARDIANS.

BEING A PAKISTANI !

SALAM !

Pakistan is our identity; we are proud to be Pakistanis, whatever we are today, our country provided the platform for that, for which we owe gratitude to Allah Karim, founding fathers and labouring millions.

Some friend posted the nostalgic pictures of years gone-by. We had grace, self respect and pride. Our leaders were respected and frequented by the Kings, Queens and the Heads of the States. We lost that aura, that respect and pride due to our misdeeds and look what we have become today?

I received a call from a senior Pakistani Citizen while he was at Masjid-e-Nabvi Sharif. He was lamenting about the treatment meted out to us there, and the fact that no voice is heard from the power corridors of the city which was to be the bastion of Islam ... Islamabad.

A Pakistani gentleman by the name of Zaid Hamid was arrested [while he was there to perform Umrah] by the Saudis on the pretext that he was speaking against the Saudi Government. He was awarded very harsh punishment today after a summary disposal.

Let us discuss some facts :

Makkah and Madina are sacred to every Muslim and have been a revered destination for centuries.

Saudis are the custodians of the Holy Harams and administer Hijaz.

Every Muslim has a right to be there while observing the rules and laws of the land.

Not withstanding what his views are on different issues confronting Pakistan, Muslim world and non-muslim world, Zaid Hamid is a Pakistani citizen.

Agreed he must have crossed the limits ... he should have been declared persona non-grata and deported back with the recommendation to take him to the book in the home country.

Ostensibly he has been punished way beyond his offence and specifically for his views on terrorism, its support system and Yamen dimension.

Saudi authorities must understand that whether Zaid Hamid was hated or liked in Pakistan, their rash decision infringes upon the self respect of every Pakistani in particular and causes a feeling of in-security to every Muslim in general.

GOP and foreign office must act quickly for deportation of interned person to Pakistan where it may initiate legal proceedings on the evidence provided by Saudis.

The Nation must be told that Government is doing everything possible to bring its citizen back especially once we go overboard to hand over the Pakistani people 'WANTED' by other countries and also foreigners 'WANTED' by us to their parent countries ......... ناموں میں کیا رکھا ھے.

As regards Pak Media and other people offended by Zaid Hamid ... we have our own play ground pals we can play the game here ... BUT IT WAS HIGHLY DESPICABLE AND DISGUSTING TO NOTE THE DELIGHT OF CERTAIN QUARTETS .... THE HEADLINES LIKE زید حامد اپنے انجام کو پہنچ گیا are reprehensible at the least.

BOTTOM LINE : WE ARE PAKISTANIS ... WE ARE PROUD OF THAT AND WE WANT OUR SELF-RESPECT AND FREEDOM PRESERVED.
