All praises for Allah Karim; Immeasurable Darood-o-Salam on Rasool-Ullah Salalaho Allaihe Wasalam [SAWS].

In the preceding 7 posts we have seen most of the qualities/traits of God-Conscious (Mutaqeen) people {as per Quran} and frankly I have not been able to observe any one having a sectarian tilt/requiring a sectarian umbrella for practice. These traits as described by Allah Karim can be practiced by all and practitioners will be amongst those who shall attain the happy state (مفلِحون). The very first trait as outlined in Quran is that of BELIEF (in that which is beyond the human perception). We shall, now, see the traits of BELIEVERS ( مومِنون) in this post and few more following it.
Allah Karim Says "Do they, perchance, wait for the angels to appear unto them, or for your Sustainer [Himself] to appear, or for some of your Sustainer's {final} portents to appear? {But} on the Day when your Sustainer's [final] portents do appear, BELIEVING WILL BE OF NO AVAIL TO ANY HUMAN BEING WHO DID NOT BELIEVE BEFORE, or who, while believing, did no good works" (were not Mutaqeen). AL-AN'AM (6) : 158.Who, then are Believers?
1. They believe in God and what He has ordained.
2. They believe in Prophets and what has been given to them by God.
3. They believe in Angels and the Day of Judgement.
4. The take Quran as a guidance and glad tiding. AL-BAQARAH (2) : 97.
5. The give up usury. AL-BAQARAH (2) : 278.
6. Wives are a tilth for them and they establish a spiritual relationship as the indispensable basis of sexual relationship. AL-BAQARAH (2) : 223.
7. They do not make their oaths an obstacle to virtue and God-Consciousness and promotion of peace between people. AL-BAQARAH (2) : 224.
8. They are sure of meeting Allah. AL-BAQARAH (2) : 223.MAY ALLAH KARIM MAKE/RAISE US ALL AS BELIEVERS.
